Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average/Good overall stay This hotel is in a good location with shopping and many restaurant options near by and offers an average/good stay value overall. My biggest issue with this specific hotel was that the guest rooms are in need of an update. The furniture was worn and dated, and the mattress seemed to be in need of replacing. Exterior and grounds were well kept, just needs some work now on the guest rooms to improve the quality and cleanliness. April 26, 2016

Front desk staff, breakfast staff and housekeeping were very polite and willing to any questions. This property is also located very close to stores, gas stations, multiple places to eat and more. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wilmington get away The hotel was nice, overall clean and allowed a small dog in the room. Great area for walking the dog with poop bags supplied. Located near a residential area with sidewalks for dog walking. Breakfast was good. Only negative is that the room carpet appeared dirty and stained, possible because it was a room that allowed pets. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value and great staff This was a last minute booking because as checking into another hotel their policy changed and no longer allowed pets. Holiday Inn did and the pricing and location were good for our needs. Nearly everything was wonderful. Check-in, appearance, breakfast and manager dinner/drinks, etc. There were only two things which were negative points, but still wouldn't prevent me from staying there. The first is the pool, while indoors which is great, was fairly small and became crowded with only 5-6 kids. The second was I slept horribly the 2 nights I was there. I don't necessarily fault the hotel since the bed was good and the pillows were acceptable however not good. The kids had no problems sleeping so it could have been just me. Highly recommend this hotel. April 5, 2016
