Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay!! We arrived very late but I did call ahead to let the front desk know we would be arriving late. Our room was still available and the very last one. As we were checking in many people were walking in to inquire about a room to discover they were sold out. I have been in many situations were I made reservations for a room and arrived late to find my room given away even after it was paid for. So glad Holiday Inn did not do that to us!! The room was great, very clean, enough room for all our things even though for one night. Breakfast the next morning was nice. It made getting ready and out the door a lot quicker. Also, the lady that works the breakfast area is super sweet!! It was a great stay and very convenient for where we needed to go. We actually made reservations to come back in May for our son's college graduation. April 21, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Housekeeping takes priority to guests on the elevator The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. However, we were quite annoyed in the morning as we were attempting to leave. As we waited for the elevator we noticed that the housekeeping staff was overiding/ cancelling our elevator call because they were using the elevator. As a result we ended up with a lengthy wait for the elevator. When it did arrive one of the housekeeping staff was on it and I told her she should not be doing that. She said nothing - neither denied it nor apologized. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and he did say he would pass my comment to housekeeping. April 17, 2015

I have stayed at the Lenoir City hotel for the last four years while attending monthly diaconate formation classes/conferences/retreats for the Diocese of Knoxville. This most recent stay was one where the staff really went the extra mile. I have a disability and when at the hotel, I usually stay in the same room. This time I had to be moved to a different room because my usual room was still in use. Immediately upon telling me this, the front desk staff offered to move me the next day "if I had the time." As it turns out, I would not have had the time, but the hotel staff certainly did. During our lunch break, I was about to head to my room and one of the cleaning staff stopped me in the hall to give me the key cards to my "normal" room. It didn't have to be done, but they did...what's more, they moved my things into the "other" room exactly the way that I had them. I was deeply impressed. Breakfast was quite good, I was only sorry that I had so little time to stay and enjoy it, and it was wonderful to see half and half available with coffee! April 16, 2015
