I left my room at 11 am but had a do not disturb sign on the door until I left. The room was not cleaned when I came back. The housekeeping manager told me that her records showed that the do not disturb sign was on my door until 3 pm. This is not possible.
I was also told by another housekeeping person that they work only until 1 pm.
I do not care about the excuses. I left the room at 11 am and the "do not disturb" sign was removed when I felt and hung on the inside of the door.
Nothing was done about this.
Also, the internet was extremely slow and poor. Did not work most of the time. I actually had to use my Personal Hotspot on my cell phone to connect to the internet.

Starting from booking to checkin, stay and check out had a good experience. It was a decent place to stay with the family. We were a group of 5 families staying at the hotel and excessively used the common areas like the pool and the dining area. staff was courteous and help full and online requests made during booking were catered for.

Great location with quick and efficient check in. Pool slide was a lot of fun and the pancake machine (at breakfast) was a big hit!

Staff were courteous and there to answer questions. Pillows could have been firmer and hot tub warmer but other than that a great place to stay. Would stay again.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine the only thing which let it all down was the breakfast. There were no egg options (omelette or scrambled) and when I asked the breakfast staff about this I was told it would be 5 minutes before more arrived although it took over 10. Looking for something else we tried the pancake machine which was also out of mix and it took about 10+ minutes before it was refilled and finally the cinnamon rolls had been out so long they were rock hard on top. In addition the tables in the breakfast area are so close together that it is very hard to get from where you are sitting to the counter.
If they woke up the breakfast staff and got them keeping things supplied in a timely manner this would be a fine hotel.

We arrived late at night .... Our last hotel stay after a month long family vacation across canada and the us. The staff was friendly but could not supply me with a bottle of water unless I use 300 points from my gold IHG member account. These are the new rules which makes me wonder why we are even members of the holiday inn chain. Seems like there is no real advantage anymore.
For breakfast we also were confronted by a very rude staff member who was refusing to give my family plates since it was 9:34 am, 4 minutes past there breakfast time. Keep in mind we were there 5 minutes prior looking for the missing plates and couldn't find her. Even then, there was nothing left and I had to beg for food from the manager. They were obviously more concerned with clean up than service. A full breakfast should be available until 9:30 am as in every other holiday inn we stayed at previously.
I will not be returning!
