We stay here often and the friendly desk service, clean/comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast attendant are always consistent. There are many hotel choices in this area, but this HIE is our favorite.

We were greeted by a wonderful associate. She obviously enjoyed her job and the hotel she represented. She told us where everything was located and answered all of our questions.

We arrived at Lewisville Texas Holiday Inn at around 4:30 pm Friday 1/16/15 checking in at front desk. We were asked for a credit card/debit card and ID. We produced our debit card and desk clerk proceeded to swipe, the transaction did not go through the card was declined, and we asked her to try it again. she was reluctant to do so, but after asking her again to swipe the card she did proceed to do as we asked. The card was again declined a second time. My husband and I were standing at the desk just discussing what we should do when she told us to step away from the desk while we sorted this matter out. She seemed very disinclined to be of any help to us and asked us to move, and not a very polite manner. When she asked us to move away from the desk there was no one else in the lobby at the time. We were able to use our debit card to get cash out of the ATM in the lobby. Our bank informed us that our card could only be used if we could use our pin # , which she said we could not do. So we had to get cash out of the ATM in the lobby. Our bank informed us that it was due to some fraudulent charges made on 15 other peoples cards from the same Oklahoma area during the Christmas holidays. It was of no fault of our own, and she made us feel like we were shady characters and it was our problem. She was very unfriendly, and took a very patronizing tone with us... stating she was only doing her job etc. We have stayed at Holiday Inn many times in many different cities and this is the first unpleasant encounter we have had.... although she did do her job, she did it with a very condescending attitude which we did not appreciate. We will continue to stay at the Lewisville Holiday Inn Suites in the future....we just hope that this young woman will not be there.

Safe environment and incredibly clean rooms. I will absolutely be staying at this chain for all my travels. Thank you for your sensitivity and making my sad trip as comfortable and welcoming as possible. I wish I could name names, because this special lady behind the desk deserves huge kudos. THANK YOU!
The lady who was up since 3am, two airports, car rental and Downtown Dallas traffic (a hot mess)

Staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was quite large and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and had a variety of choices. Will certianly stay here again!!
