Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room This is probably the nicest room we have stayed in. The furniture was actually comfortable to relax in, the bed was good and the pillows were actually good. The front desk staff were all good especially Tyson. We were always acknowledged when we arrived or departed. The pool was not enjoyable because it was way too hot. However, when we inquired at the desk they knew about it and told us that one maintainence man had quit suddenly and the other had a family emergency so they were having a hard time getting it taken care of which is an acceptable answer for us. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed Review The room was of high quality as expected from the HIE property. The rest of the hotel left a lot to be desired in execution. While the pool area had a nice layout, there were no lights, front desk agent did not know how to turn them on. This caused an issue since it was very dark in there and the kids could not enjoy the area in the evening. Also in the pool area there were no towels for guest use. Breakfast area was dirty. There seemed to be no concerns with wiping as you go to clean the surfaces. Food replenishment was slow, had to ask for fruit to be put out. Attendant put out 2 bananas, they went, and not replaced. This breakfast experience was subpar compared to other HIE hotels I have stayed. July 14, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All Excellent! No exaggeration! So what's important in a hotel stay? Cleanliness, comfort, quiet at a reasonable hour, friendly, helpful staff! But OH NO, don't stop there! I was SHOCKED at the complimentary breakfast. I rushed down on our first morning, which happened to be a Sunday, to scoop up breakfast since I was expecting the typical staff behavior of picking up the food at the exact closing time. We comfortably sat and enjoyed our breakfast minutes beyond the closing time. The next morning (NON-Sunday), I wasn't expecting the same quality breakfast since it was a weekday. WRONG again! A lovely breakfast plus afternoon cookies the four days we were in Lexington. A few other hotels should go to Lexington for training! Thank you Tyson, Tiffany, and Miya/Mirah!
