Everything fine...Did not realize Holiday Inn Express was animal friendly....I am NOT a fan of this.....a couple were leaving the same morning we were qnd the cat or dog kennel came open in the hall near our room and all the litter came out....i am sure they left without notfying anyone......I think Holiday Inn could do just fine financially by keeping their rooms HUMAN FRIENDLY... Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place to stay. but a bit expensive for what you get. The Holiday in Express in Lexington was a nice place to stay with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. But they could turn down the volume on the audio (radio) outside under the car port. Also there was a wedding party using the banquet room that night till 4:00 AM and staff could not control the party people and they were running up and down the hall ways and shouting and beating on doors of the rooms. Not good for a nights sleep. I questioned this the next morning and all they did was say "sorry". October 4, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Customer Service Made The Stay This was not a planned stop on our vacation but I had underestimated the time needed so Lexington was a well come stop for a tired traveler. The location had excellent curb appeal. You could tell the employees took pride in their work. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and check-in was handled quickly and efficiently. The room was very clean, an important point for my wife, and the decor was pleasant. Breakfast the next morning was alright and the friendliness of the attendant made it an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this location if you find yourself near Lexington, NE. September 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor pet friendly property Grass hadn't been mowed in front of the property and was the only place for my dog to go to the bathroom. The spots around the property were weedy, rocky had cockleburs etc. Pool didn't work air conditioning stays on the entire time Think the pet fee is way too expensive, as I don' thave cleaning service and you would have to clean the rooms anyway. Ran out of fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs. August 26, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The friendliest staff! This was our first time to the HIE in Lexington, Nebraska. The moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the friendliest check-in staff! She went out of her way to pay special attention to Priority Club members(free bottled water & chocolate in a nice gift bag). There were plenty of parking spaces and several places to eat by the hotel. The lobby was clean, modern and spacious. Free breakfast was good with plenty of choices and well stocked. The only negative thing was that you can hear everything in the hall from your room. August 1, 2013

The eggs that day were on the cool side. I like my food hot and a good tasting cup of coffee always sets your day up right. Room rate was average. Staff was very nice. July 31, 2013

The pool open all night was very welcome after a hard day on the road with the kids giving chance to relax and have the kids tire. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great, although the staff was unable to keep up with the demand and spent most of the time out of eggs, biscuits/gravy and many people were waiting around. July 22, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast The first morning I went down to breakfast about an hour ahead, hardly any hot food, no eggs, no gravy, only several bread slices and orange juice was giving only water. No help around waited 10 minutes no change went outside hotel to have breakfast. Others in hotel that were regulars said weekend this always happens, desk said they have never heard of any problems. Returned to room after eating across the street 10 minutes before breakfast supposed to be over and everything was cleaned up, Tuesday through Friday was better. July 16, 2013

She only had a room next to the elevator available (in my room category). Oh, they offered me old torn towels to place on the floor. Thanks. Save your money and drive to the next town. July 1, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Room Flooded with water I showed up late at night and asked if there were any rooms available. The lady was so nice. She was able to find me a room at my corporate rate. She also helped me fix the printer in the business center. She went above and beyond to help me and should get rewarded for her service. Around 2 AM is when everything went bad. I woke up to a huge thunderstorm that was flooding the parking lot. Unfortunately, it was coming through the roof too. I put the ice bucket down and two towels. By the time I woke up, part of the bed was soaked, the ice bucket over flowed and half of the room was soaked. I've never had this happen in a hotel, or a house for that matter, so I really had no idea what to do besides tell the front desk. My recommendation: don't stay on the third floor. June 25, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy We stayed at this hotel because the weather was bad and because it was a Holiday Inn Express. We got one of the last rooms, it was handicapped which was fine but the noise! It was next to the stairs that sounded like elephants going up and down all night long. The back exit door would slam every time some one went out or in, and one other guest remote locked their car doors several times that night. Sleep was poor and having to drive the rest of the way back to Minnesota was difficult. If you stay here do not get a room by an outside door or the stairs!!! June 4, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay in Kearny vs. Lexington Pet Friendly accommodations should be in the same category as smoking accommodations . . . not allowed. Pet free zone was on the 2nd floor, so above us we heard a pet owner tossing a ball for Rover incessantly. Below us, Rover was continuously barking. Tried to contact front desk - no one available. The condition of the hotel was smelly and dirty. Beds were lumpy and the freshness of the linens was questionable. Given the unclean conditions of the hotel, instant pancake mix and warmed up bacon was not too appetizing. Wish there was an avenue for return of the money spent, but knowing Holiday Inns, Inc will not be included in any future travel plans will be our compensation. May 11, 2013

The beds are comfortable and my husband enjoys the breakfast. The cookies are delicious and we always look forward to them. We recommend the motel as often as possible. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Over-priced for location Bed was comfy, room very clean but dated, some new furniture. Enjoyed the m/w and refrig in room. Far end of hall room area very noisy, all doors slam loudly, no sound insulation between rooms or floors. Door to room not well-fitted, so every time someone else's door slammed, ours shook on it's frame. The cost was way too high for the middle of Nebraska. We got a "Group Rate" that was $3 less than the regular price. Enjoyed the hot tub when we could get it to operate. November 2, 2012
