Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional Choice! We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Lexington twice now and have been very impressed on both visits. The property and rooms are very clean and well kept and the staff is fabulous. We originally chose this hotel because we were traveling with our dog and they are pet friendly. Well, they're not just pet friendly, they are pet welcoming. Every staff member and many other guests interacted with our boxer and really made us feel comfortable. It's a wonderful property all the way around and would and have recommended it. Thank you so very much for being great and being there for us! August 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than Most A nice facility, with three small shortcomings: no pool, minimal staff (which slowed check-in/out process), and understaffed personnel in the breakfast room (trash cans very full at 7:30 a.m.). But otherwise, this is a nice place to stay: accessible to I-64/81 and Lexington. August 12, 2014

The staff are always friendly and eager to help make our stay as comfortable as possible..There are always cookies and coffee available in the lobby. This hotel smelled sooo good, even the elevators, I loved that clean smell..!!!!! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable..There wasn't one thing about this hotel that we didn't like.. I was in the area to attend the New Orleans Saints Training Camp 2014, and as an IHG member, I was hoping to find a room within a reasonable distance from the site. Considering the number of people attending, and the fact that all hotels closer to the facility were already full, I was amazed that not only was I still able to get a great room, I was able to get it with my IHG points! The staff was helpful, courteous, and extremely accomodating. My cell phone was having battery problems, so they assisted me with finding my travel companions who had secured accomodations at other hotels, and allowed me to use the hotel's phone to synchronize our dinner plans and travel plans for the next day. Their kindness went way beyond my expectations--To me, it was like a breath of fresh air, and greatly aoppreciated. The Lexington, VA staff should be commended for their smiles, their courtesy and their level of service. Well done! August 6, 2014
