I was in the area to attend the New Orleans Saints Training Camp 2014, and as an IHG member, I was hoping to find a room within a reasonable distance from the site. Considering the number of people attending, and the fact that all hotels closer to the facility were already full, I was amazed that not only was I still able to get a great room, I was able to get it with my IHG points! The staff was helpful, courteous, and extremely accomodating. My cell phone was having battery problems, so they assisted me with finding my travel companions who had secured accomodations at other hotels, and allowed me to use the hotel's phone to synchronize our dinner plans and travel plans for the next day. Their kindness went way beyond my expectations--To me, it was like a breath of fresh air, and greatly aoppreciated. The Lexington, VA staff should be commended for their smiles, their courtesy and their level of service. Well done! August 6, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very helpful staff, very clean rooms We travel with our five year old grandson who uses a wheelchair. Many times we have difficulty even finding a parking spot to be able to unload his wheelchair or a room that can accommodate his needs. This was not the case in Lexington. The staff were super-friendly and the hotel was super clean. Our room was spacious and presented no problems for us in using his wheelchair in the room. Breakfast room was well laid out and the staff were very helpful. This is a definite stay at hotel and one where we will be staying at in the future as we travel on I-81 July 28, 2014

The rooms are clean with a good work desk, comfortable chair and good lighting. The climate control works well. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom, nice amenities and enough space to move around. The breakfast area is large enough and has a good variety of options. July 27, 2014

Tome, Grace, Norma, Norma "Cookie" have consistently provided excellent service and attention to needs. Rooms are comfortable and well taken care of. Would be nice id they could upgrade the smaller sleep sofas in the efficiency rooms to full or queen size pullouts. GREAT JOB! July 3, 2014

All the reservations were handled efficiently and correctly. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful -- even the housekeeping staff. They went out of their way to ensure we were happy and satisfied! The room was spacious and clean and the shower was fantastic! Tons of water pressure!! I highly recommend this hotel! And, of course, the cinnamon buns can't be beat!!! June 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty and Poorly Maintained The hotel was overall dirty, it even smelled like garbage the when we arrived to check in (This was solved the net morning when we saw that during breakfast there were full trash bags being piled on the floor in the doorway between the dining room and the lobby). Our room also showed lack of maintenance/cleaning - remotes and phones looking dirty, poorly patched holes in the bathroom, an electric outlet pulling out from the wall. The manager was supposed to contact us about these issues but never bothered to do so. We asked about speaking to the manager the following morning but were informed that he was "obviously off" since it was the weekend. When trying to get a check out receipt there was then no one at the front desk, they were instead outside smoking and talking on the phone. June 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Old Decor and Housekeeping Misses The small couch in our suite was very old and broken down. Cushions have no FLUFF left in them. It is too small for two adults to sit comfortably together. Cannot dream of 2 adults sleeping on the hide-a-bed this would make. Housekeeping did not clean up or restock the in-room coffee maker or supplies for our second nights stay. No clean plastic water cups were provided for the next days stay. Shower curtain rod hits the bathroom door when opened, and there are holes in the bathroom wall from a previous towel bar that was removed. The shower head looked very discolored from water scale or soap scum. This property needs some extra care and updating to keep up with the rest of the chain. Breakfast was good and the check in staff was nice and very helpful. May 25, 2014
