There were a few hotel choices in the area but we had stayed in a Holiday Inn on our way to Florida so we decided to stay where we had been comfortable before. The staff was extremely cheerful even though they had been stuck at the hotel for 3 days. Facility was clean and neat. January 27, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room was not very clean Upon arrival, we acknowledged that our room was not very clean so we ended up purchasing some wipes at a local store to clean the surfaces (they were dirty and sticky). Just had higher standards for Holiday Inn. January 18, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent experience, comfortable stay From the very beginning when speaking with Marge on the reservation line (she was wonderful and we got her twice by chance!), we were pleased with our two stays at Holiday Inn Express. In Lexington, the check in process was quick and they were pet friendly which was excellent since we were traveling in a huge moving truck with our pup and needed a place to spend the night on a three day trip North. They gave us a lovely and clean room (not one that was beat up because they always give those to pet owners at other hotels). They had a dog walking area with disposal bags, lots of large vehicle parking and a great free easy breakfast. Not gourmet, mind you, but enough selection and fresh foods to get you out on the road happily. Parking for large vehicles was ample. Staff was courteous. Room and bathroom were very clean. It was dark and quiet and we slept well on the terrific mattress and great pillows. There's a Subway right in front of the building so we were able to get subs for dinner. All in all a great stay on a difficult trip. January 15, 2016
