Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Weekend Away Great value for money if booked early. About half of the displayed costs at reception from memory. Modern and clean, free WiFi and with breakfast, the cost was about the same as Travel Lodge who charge for WiFi and no breakfast. Surprised that they seem to be dog friendly. Glad I wasn't next to the room with the barking dog, but may have been quiet through the night. All in all we would recommend and continue to use. December 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great customer service with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and breakfast serving staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, breakfast choices were quickly made available when they had run out during the serving times. One of the bedside lamps was not working upon arrival but someone immediately investigated when I reported the problem. The hotel is a bit far outside Lichfield city centre to the south west. It's okay if you have a car but the town is accessible by a short taxi ride too. December 6, 2014

While the beds are a bit small, the attitude and "can do" attitude of the staff make it a great place to stay. This friendly and positive attitude is why we keep coming back. December 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed up rooms Overall a good experience but this was a group booking and I had in advance asked for rooms to be allocated - doubles to couples/twins to single occupants/ - this was not done, and the same happened when we stayed here two years ago. I had emailed and spoken to them prior to our stay to request this and was told it would be done as per our booking list. Not great when your the party organiser and the director wants to know why he's been given a twin room to stay with his wife! No more available rooms to change were available - if they had allocated correctly in the first place we wouldn't have had a problem. Rooms were clean and tidy, bathrooms was well stocked and plenty of towels. A bit short on staff, the hotel was fully booked, could have done with another person on the bar. Breakfast ok, a bit on the cool side. December 4, 2014
