Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent and attentive staff We arrived into Birmingham Airport early in the morning (7AM) and went straight to the Holiday Inn Express Lichfield to drop off our bags with a view to checking in later at the appointed time of 3PM. Well when we arrived the staff asked us to have a cup of tea (breakfast was in full swing) and they checked and informed us that we could book into a room straight away and leave our bags there. This was such a help to us because we had been travelling since 4AM and needed a rest before we headed on to meet with relations for a family member's birthday celebrations beginning at 1PM that day. Our complete stay was in the same vein with such polite and helpful staff. My wife and I were so pleased. The five star quality and attention was well out of sync with the very reasonable cost. It just made the whole trip so pleasant for us. October 1, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and Efficient A convenient location with access to major routes. Efficient staff and a comfortable room containing everything we needed for an overnight stay. Even though this hotel is situated at a very busy road junction, outside noise was hardly noticeable. September 24, 2015

The reception area has changed looks less comfortable with, in my opinion too many tables and chairs and not enough comfortable ones that would make it more welcoming. September 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Value for Money Got a great rate, as we booked in advance and it included breakfast! The hotel interior was a bit dated, especially the bathroom, and the kettle in the room. Apart from this, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and had a nice new tv. Did get a bit warm in the room though and there was no air-con facilities, just a fan. Breakfast was very basic, but was ok for being included in the rate. I wouldn't have paid extra for it though. September 16, 2015

One member of staff would serve a whiskey & coke in small glass next one filled a half pint glass, one would fill beer up to top another would leave two inch of froth. All a bit hit n miss.
