We stayed Thanksgiving night and couldn't be more pleased. The staff was very nice and accommodating, room was very clean and spacious (2 queens), breakfast was more than adequate, and the pool area was very nice. Very enjoyable. We rented this room so our family (kids and grandkids) from the surrounding area could have a pool party.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by garynec Good hotel but older one
This hotel did not have all the amenities of the newer ones.
Example only certain rooms have a microwave or refrigerator. Ours did not. However they did have a small pantry with snacks and a microwave for public use in the lobby area.
For cross country travel this hotel was sufficient and comfortable. In other locations I have stayed at comparable hotels of other brands where they had same or better amenities and lower price.
As a retired person I have become more aware of price vs quality.
I would still use this hotel again,

I left my $179 sonic care toothbrush in the room, called within 24 hours and it was never turned into lost and found. Very disappointed the housekeeping staff is dishonest. :(

Don't be fooled by some of the reviews, this Holiday Inn Express is very clean and comfortable; run by some very nice people. The breakfast is the regular HIeX breakfast, no surprises. There is no outside noise and the parking lot is not shared with any other businesses. Everything is safe and secure. I had a cargo trailer and had to park in the street along the property - the front desk stated that security watches over the parking lot and the cars in the street - no problem.
You won't be disappointed. One more thing, there are plenty of places to eat if you can't handle the HIeX breakfast; Denny's is walking distance across the street and there are several other fast food places in town. Great place for an overnight stay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jeff242 Holiday Inn Express Limon -- Top Notch
My wife and I stay here 2-3 times a year on trips from St. Louis to western states and back again. We like the Holiday Inn Express in Limon because it is easy to get to, always well-kept and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's conveniently located to the (few) restaurants in Limon as well.

This is not a bad hotel. The breakfast is limited (there was no fruit, for example, and only instant oatmeal). But the great challenge relates to restaurants in the area. Essentially there are none. Oscars, across the street, is fair, but that''s about it.

On our trip out to Oregon 8 nights spent on the road and 6 nights were in Holiday Brand. 5 out of 6 were clean, breakfast items good and set out nicely, staff was wonderful and just overall up to standard. Would stay again except in Bonner Springs Kansas. I will go out of the way to keep from staying there..

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dragonsluver Eat Breakfast Somewhere Else
Our room was just fine. But...
The people who worked here just didn't seem to care. When we checked in at 3pm there was a dish full of their morning rolls sitting on a desk by the check in. They were still there the next morning. Not covered up. Just sitting there. The breakfast supply was horrible. 1 type of muffin. 2 types of yogurt Raspberry and Peach. No white bread. The warm food wasn't even covered. It looked old and we sure didn't want to try it. Unfortunately we just should have ate somewhere else. Just didn't seem like the people working there cared at all. When we walked by the desk we weren't even acknowledged with a hello or anything.
Like I said though...the room was okay. So if you stay here just eat somewhere else.
