My son and I had booked into the Holiday Inn Lincoln through the Priority Club. On arrival they ad no record of our booking and no vacancies. Helpfully they found a room for us at the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was easy to find with plenty of secure parking. On arrival the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and looked like new. Our room was basic, comfortable with a good shower and bathroom. Disappointingly there was no wifi in he room and the cable access provided was no good for a tablet. As with all Holiday Inns they try to make money from an Internet and TV bundle, things I expect to be free. It is one reason we look at other hotels first but they have not caught on. Breakfast was edible but lacked choice - rubbery cooked option and a cardboard continental spread - you know what I mean. No one would ver stay there for he breakfast. We did not make use of the lounge or bar. The price was too high given other higher rated hotels in the area have offers for far less. I would stay again but only as somewhere to sleep.

this is the 2nd visit to this hotel and I was very happy with everything and would use it again and would recommend to anybody visiting Lincoln.

The staff were very helpful and changed the beds in the rooms to twins as we had all guys staying for a football weekend.
Any chance of bacon with the breakfast but the breakfast was fine.

We stopped over for one night and although the weather was lousy we enjoyed all aspects of our stay.Great view of the city from the sixth floor.Great room layout.Staff friendly and very helpful. Good secure car park.Great location for shops,pubs and restaurants.Had a nice lunchtime meal on the barge at Brayford Quay and found a really good value for money indian restaurant on the High St.Did not visit the cathedral this year but well worth visiting with all the olde worldy shops and historical themes.No compaints at all with the hotel .We will stay again next year or sooner.

As at all HiExpress a clean comfy room and excellent service. Bar prices expensive but all hotels are. This was an excellent stay as I got the room for a bargain price each night for using this chain regularly. I hope the price stays reasonable.

This is a nice hotel to stay in and despite being a bit further from the city centre than other establishments is only a short walk from a good selection of restaurants and the main in town shopping area.
The room is nicely furnished though the air conditioning which wouldn't behave and the fluctuating water temperature in the shower did disappoint a little.
Staff a very friendly and helpful and the hotel is well maintained.

The hotel is ideally situated, near to the centre with a reasonable parking charge.
Breakfast was adequate and the same as other Holiday Inn Express hotels. As a vegetarian, I would prefer more choice of buffet and no cooked option.
We would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay when visiting LIncoln ( a short, easy walk to castle, cathedral and shops).
We stayed at the hotel in January, so the room was a little cold. However, staff were very helpful in solving the problem. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything about this hotel except the food was excellent, the staff were very very helpful.
Hotel was situated perfectly for us visiting the Christmas market.
Food however really needs to be improved.

Excellent service as usual, have stayed at this hotel about 6 times now, staff are friendly and polite,
comfortable and very quiet room in a modern building, good breakfast selection included in price; secure parking at night; ideally located within a few minutes walk of the City centre, the waterfront area is gives excellent choice for eating out,however I would recommend booking in advance as the restaurants are very popular, the old town can also be enjoyed without using the car. excellent for a short break.

Great service at the front desk, had a problem with my priority club account, they had it sorted in minutes with no fuss. When we checked out I was asked if I would like to leave my car in the car park for a while longer as they would validate the ticket for later in the day, this was a bonus as I was going to do a bit of shopping. Nice touch.
Room was nice enough no complaints there.
Breakfast was fine plenty to eat.
All in all a pleasant stay.

The Holiday Inn Express is in a great location from Lincoln Town Centre and Cathedral & Castle. There are also plenty of places to eat near by as well as in the hotel.
Good service by the staff upon arrival, they even have little maps of Lincoln available. The room was very nice just what you would expect from a Holiday Inn.
Parking at the hotel was £5.00 for 48 hours which I thought was good value, although it would have been nice if it was free.
We will go back to this hotel it offers good value and most of all its clean and comfortable and staff are helpful.

staff were excellent; hard working. polite and helpful
rooms were modern, bright and comfy
the buffet breakfast was well done considering catering numbers, but I missed my full English
the pillows were like concrete - that wadding filling really doesn't stand up to the usage
we stayed 2 nights - Friday and Saturday; both nights were disrupted by other guests coming back in the early hours from [we guess] night clubbing
they were rowdy with doors banging and loud chatter for a couple of hours the first night and an hour the 2nd night
so no to any more stays with this hotel
we will find somewhere else to stay on future visits to our granddaughter at uni

Room was nice with a fab view, what let it down though was the dirty windows and muck behind the bathroom door, all evidence that the room is not cleaned to a high standard.
Bed was comfortable and there were adequate facilities.
