let me just say this:
Sink didn't drain , TV took many times to get sound, Phone in room didn't work, heater out on pool, staff on the phone constantly and did not even know what the club members received, the computer was so old I never was able to connect after a min of 15 minutes and the staff pretended or was on the phone so no help. It was memorable all right but not for the reasons Holiday Inn would want. I would never stay again or recommend.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Sanders003 Bed needed replacing
I'm a loyal Holiday Inn Express customer, BUT my experience in Lincoln was very bad. The bed needed to be replaced. The bed was convexed. The bed sheets did not lay flat at the center of the bed. The was a deep, deep depression in the middle/ center of the bed. I should have requested another room, but I didn't. The room seemed cleaned. The next morning while I was sitting on the bed putting my shoes on, I notice a large grouping of finger nail (or worse, toenail) clipping. Obviously the room had not be vacuumed. I was totally grossed out! Will the experience change my opinion of Holiday Inn Express? NO. I've had too many good experiences. I was just disappointed at this particular site.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TruthRider74 Served it's purpose
I had to work in the town of Aurora and there are no hotels there. As usual there is a Holiday Inn express not too far from where I need to be and this one was it. Conveniently located, easy to find, and very homey. Outside of an unpleasant tone from the morning desk person who I assumed to be the manager and horrible breakfast order from the local McDonald's (unrelated I know) it was a near perfect stay. I would definitely stay again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mike1107 Good deal for the price
The staff was very friendly and the room were very clean. I would prefer the sink and mirror to be in the same room as the shower, but that wasn't the case. Hard to get ready in the morning when others are asleep and you need to run the water or dry your hair. But that can't be changed. The one thing that can be changed is the breakfast setup. There is a good variety of items, but the hot items are not organized very good. There was 4 trays of hot food on a two shelf box. Opening the plastic doors and scooping your food was a 2 hand job. You had to set your plate down to get your food and there wasn't much room for your plate. Needless to say, food was spilled. We stayed 2 nights and one morning, the food was really slow to be restocked. Had to wait over 20 minutes for more eggs. The second morning was much better for restocking of food. The 2 shelf box needs to be replaced with a single shelf and doors that stay open without holding on to it. Overall, the breakfast setup was my only complaint of our stay. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn on 26th in Lincoln numerous times and have always had a great experience! The staff will go out of their way to make your stay excellent. It is walking distance to restaurants which makes it even nicer.

Convenient to where I needed to be but this hotel does not live up to other HIEX. Long time Platinum member and I was never thanked for my loyalty. Fist IGH that I have stayed at in the last 10 years where I was not offered a member welcome pack. Not a very friendly staff, not unfriendly but more like just there with no training in customer service. Not the best laid out room I have seen. Next time in the area I will look at other properties first
