Daniel and his staff are sure-fire customer service winners! Every request made was prioritized and completed expeditiously! Comfortable bed and pillows, 1st floor quiet room, early housekeeping...everything was superb!
Thank you Daniel for making the stay at this IHG property enjoyable!

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
es hat alles bestens geklappt, bis auf die Buchung. Diese wurde offenbar vergessen. Meinen Kollegin hat Verfügbarkeit und Preis angefragt, und nach Urgenz beides erhalten. Dann hat sie mit den richtigen Daten gebucht, aber leider keine Bestätigung mehr erhalten. Als wir am späteren Abend im Hotel eingetroffen sind lag also auch keine Reservierung vor. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang konnte aber alles rasch zu unserer Zufriedenheit und auch mit dem richtigen Preis regeln.
Somit hat alles geklappt. Wie gewohnt. :-)

Showed up at 2:56 to check in and were told no. Troy at the font desk said it wasn't 3:00 yet and he might not have anything available. Really? Because 4 minutes is going to make a difference? He said he was sold out the night before and the girls were behind. Maybe the cleaning gals didn't show up until 12 and when they did, I guess they didn't clean a room with 1 king bed in it until 2:50.
We killed 3 hours prior to this since they had nothing open at 12 when we called and 1:30 when we stopped in person. Circumstances are always different but any other hotel chain I've stayed at has usually made somewhat of an effort to place us especially since we had a wedding to be at by 3. I've always stayed at Holiday Inn Express or related chains as we are priority club members. However, we may consider giving priority to the 1st hotel to accommodate us rather than tell us we have to wait an extra 4 minutes until it's actually 3.
The pros were that everything else about the hotel was on par with our usual experiences.

The rooms were updated and clean. Our room had a king bed, a sofa/lounge area, a small fridge, ironing board and a coffee maker. It was comfortable and a great value for the price.

There is not a lot around the area that is open late at night for food and drink, certainly nothing within walking distance.

very close to Nebraska heart hospital where we were to check in very early. Great bed and pleasant room. No bad odors or noise. During the night the bill was put under door for quick check out. We were thankful for a good nights rest.

The "scrambled" eggs were very, very poor - almost inedible, and the meat selection was awful. What was by far the worst, however, was the toilet paper. I've never written a review on toilet paper, but this has to be an exception. Literally, the toilet paper used in this facility began coming apart as soon as wiping began. Even extra sheets did not help, because the paper simply did not hold together. I did not know such awful toilet paper existed. When mentioned to the front desk clerk at check-out, she slightly rolled her eyes and said she knew exactly what I was talking about. Apparently that's what's made available to staff as well. The bed was quite saggy, and the WiFi was unavailable. The night desk clerk simply said that sometimes it's on, sometimes it's off, with no effort to reboot the router. Would I stay there again? If I had to, but I'd look for other accommodations first. Very disappointed. Finally, that same night desk clerk knew which direction we were coming in from when I called to confirm that we would be late, yet never mentioned that the exit to reach his facility was closed (once we got there, he acknowledged he knew of the closure). GPS was not working, and we had a very difficult time finding an alternate route to the facility.
