This hotel is over priced, paper thin walls, & the AC could not keep the room cold when the weather out side was 70 degrees!!!!!
One the worse Holiday Inn Express I ever stayed in!!!!

Our family enjoyed staying at Holliday Inn Express in Lititz. We forgot to bring directions how to get from Hershey park to this hotel. Thankfully, front desk was very helpful with directions and check in procedure later after 10 pm. The room was very clean and spacious for our large family. Breakfast had wide variety of yummy choices that exceeded our expectations. Our family enjoyed swimming in the pool and soaking in a hot tub. We felt pampered and happy after our stay in this hotel. We highly recommend it to others.

My wife and I spent one night at your facility. We are glad we were able to get a booking at your hotel. Starting from the receptionist who checked us in to the person who checked us out, everything was done very professionally with the guest in mind. Every staff member we happened to meet (cleaning staff, breakfast staff etc. were very welcoming.
The location was also convenient for us to get back on the highway (95 etc.).
The room was very clean. The breakfast had enough variety. We were even allowed to sit in the breakfast room with some company later that morning. The bed was not a designer bed, but it served the purpose of helping us to rest well. One minor item, the soap could have been a wee bit larger.
Thank you for a great experience.
All in all it was quite an enjoyable experience

We stayed over for only one night got there late and left early. Are room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The staff at the front desk were excellent and helped us find a wonderful very delicious resteraunt . Breakfast was way more than we thought it would be.

Upon arrival, the room felt damp. I should have asked for another room but did not want to go through the hassle. I figured the A/C would clear up the problem. Eventually, over night, the dampness seemed to go away as long as we kept the A/C on cool- and it got too cold. When the A/C was off, the room felt moist. The carpet near the bathroom felt wet damp.
Can anyone design an A/C that is quiet? Also, the air quality was poor. Maybe the A/C was not removing the moisture from the hot days' air, or the water was pooling in it.
I won't be back to this one.

The Pull out bed did not have sheets or pillow cases in the storage bag; just the pillows and mattress pad, had to go desk for sheets and at first we were told they were out. Also ordered extra towels, We were registered with 4 guest but had only 3 bath towels.

I stayed here with my family and we had such a great experience. The staff was wonderful. I would recomend this hotel to anyone staying in the Lancaster area. When you do stay make sure you check out Wilbur Chocolate.

When I booked this hotel, my husband complained it was too expensive. After eating breakfast the next morning, he was so impressed, he commented that the breakfast alone was worth $40 and insisted we stay at Holiday Inn Express again the next night. In fact we stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels in West Virginia and Indiana because of the wonderful experience we had staying at this one in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Thank you!

We stayed here over the Fourth of July. Room was clean and quiet, the ac worked great and was not too loud. The front desk staff was friendly and offered suggestions about the area. Breakfast the first morning was ok, the second morning there seemed to be more families with children, less tables were available the more noise. This was not the hotels fault . Lots of attractions nearby.

I would recommend this hotel because of the staff and service. We were very comfortable here and would definitely stay here again.
If I could make a suggestion, though, it would be to keep the business center stocked with computer paper and pens for the guests to use if need be. Other than that everything was wonderful!

Spent 4 nights in the area and was very pleased with accommodations. Check in process was simple, room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning and it was the 1st HIE that has offered pancakes along with the other normal choices. Location is convenient for easy access to surrounding area. The staff provided a list of local restaurants in Lititz that was helpful and I would recommend they add The Tomato Pie Cafe to that list as it was phenomenal.

The office chair would not keep the air in the chamber and was way to low to use it with the office desk. I am sure the chair has been broken for a long time and no one has bothered to replace it.

I was in a musty and noisy room - #202, I think. The stairs abutted one of the walls and footsteps resounded in the room and, in some cases, could be felt! I could hear the ice machine loud and clear. And wild children ran up and down the stairs and the hallway.
After an hour of hoping things would calm down so I could sleep, I called the front desk to ask for a change of rooms. They were super! The new room - maybe #323? - was clean and very quiet. I had a super stay! Great staff!
Maybe room #202 could become a staff room?

A-C was loud and did not cool room. We wanted a cool room to sleep in DID NOT HAPPEN. The shower would drain in at least an hour or so it seems. There appeared to be a lack of staff during breakfast period. I have been to various HIE and there was always someone at the breakfast to take care of problems, not here. I went to the front desk to ask for the juice machine to be filled but it was stated to use one of the other selections if I wanted juice. When it came time to leave there was no one around for at least four minutes. This facility could be a nice place to stay but the staff of lack of staff should be a concern to management.

Morning Front desk: We had no electricity in the bathroom in the morning, and didn't want to take showers in the dark. When we checked out we told the front desk, and she looked blankly at us and said, "Yes?" We repeated it and she had no response. Finally she asked if we were looking for a discount, and we told her not to bother. Rude!
Other than that, I would rate the Lititz location a solid "B" compared to other Holiday Inns we have stayed at over the last 25+ years. The evening Front Desk (Joanne), and the house keeping staff were very customer friendly.

It was ok this time. However the hot tub was not working and that was the draw to the hotel. I wish they had said something when I called. I would have booked somewhere else.
I recently 4-29-13 went to the same area but your hotel would have cost a $100.00 more. It was too bad. I would have liked to have stayed at your hotel.

WAS my number one choice of hotel in Lititz, PA when i visit..but last visit after driving 7 hours,, was a nightmare.was there the week before made the reservation before i checked out for following week. when i arrived i had the confirmation of paying a certain amount when i get there to check in the manager there told me they were not gonna honor it and that the price went up 16.00 a night and i had reservation for 3 nights...i was not happy and wont go back to that hotel again..at the end of calling the main corporation they told me they were not suppose to change my rate and they called Lititz and i did get it for what i booked it at..they changed my rate after i left hotel and the main corp saw that and said they were wrong in doing that! very happy with the service i received with the corporation when i called but not happy with what the hotel in Lititz did after i have been going back there on all my visits...will no longer deal with the holiday inn express in Lititz.,pa

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and understanding. We had booked 2 nights under prepaid terms, but we had a medical emergency on our second day. The staff refunded us our money for the second night even though the prepaid terms were restrictive. This is the kind of customer service that keeps companies in business. Thanks to the staff who worked on the morning of March 29, 2013.

From the staff greeting upon arrival to my departure, my experience was that of a five star hotel property. My rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating with any of our needs. The pool and hot tub were clean and available for use and the breakfast area was full of fresh items to eat along with being spotless. The hotel is located out of the hustle of a now popular shopping outlet area, but easily accessible. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Lancaster area and would definitely stay here again!

As a Priority Club member I often need to take advantage of a late checkout. Having stayed at this location over a dozen times, I'm very accustomed to what they can and cannot provide. On this trip, I was told by the night time desk clerk that a late checkout would not be possible. Why? Because of the scheduling and/or availability of the housekeeping staff. Very disappointed! The morning clerk, however, granted me an extra hour and for that I was grateful.
What is the story, HI Express, behind the late checkout? You actively promote this as a feature of your program, yet several times I been denied the feature at various locations due to housekeeping staff availability or scheduling! Is this the call of the "franchisee" or "franchisor"?
PS Bed linens were really wrinkled!
