Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Highly Dissappointed As a frequent IHG traveler, I have become accustomed to a high standard of customer service and condition of the property. We checked in on a Friday evening to find that our a/c was leaking and the carpet was soaked. The air was moist and smelled like mold. The pictures and mirror were molding, which led us to believe this was an ongoing problem. On the way out for dinner, we stopped by desk to report. The clerk was overwhelmed but after jotting down our info on a notebook she explained for us to call in the morning for a manager. We weren't asking for a discount, we were on points. Just wanted problem resolved. It wasn't until 5:30pm the following day that someone was sent up with shop vac. When the cover was removed the inside of the unit was black. Needless to say the bathroom was dusty under sink and the public spaces hadn't been vacuumed in what appeared for weeks. Just completely disappointed. July 31, 2015

This past stay, there were a couple of problems but when I talked with the staff and managers, it was handled in a timely manner and nicely. I appreciated the way that they took care of everything. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above and Beyond Customer Service We would like to first thank Amber the customer service clerk at check in. From the second we asked if by chance they had a room available because our condo booking didn't workout in NC she went above and beyond to help make our two night stay at this Holiday Inn a wonderful experience. We can't thank her enough. She saved a vacation in N. Myrtle Beach! The manager Joy was also very accommodating. The room we were able to get was wonderful very quiet and nice view of the water. I would like to recommend that the workout facility be updated a bit. The treadmill wasn't working the evening I tried to use it. Other than that the facility is well maintained. We would go back there in a heart beat! Thanks again for going above and beyond to accommodate us on such short notice. July 24, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love This Hotel My wife and I spent a week here on vacation and loved it. The room was great, great ladies at the front desk, very polite, always ready to help. The room was great, clean, and well kept. Our maids were right on time everyday . At checkout everything was great, bill was correct. The restaurant in the hotel has a lot to be desired, The food is cold, no cinnamon buns the first day the lady said they ran out, how do you run out of food when you are in the middle of your busy season? Everything is great except the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go out to breakfast. As a spire member I wish the coffee was in the lobby area all day and night. I have never seen a hotel that locks up the coffee pots at night, most ihg has coffee in the lobbies. We will be back next year and I would recommend this hotel.. July 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Marina Setting The hotel is located on a marina that has a very nice boardwalk. The hotel lobby is nice, the front desk people are friendly enough. Breakfast in the morning is a little hectic in the breakfast room. There is a nice view of the marina in the breakfast room but the line doesn't move smoothly in the breakfast area. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean. Housekeeping was friendly. The A/C in our room didn't work but hopefully that is room specific. This hotel is located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. I would recommend this hotel and if we are in the area we would stay here again. July 14, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff The young girls at check in were very helpful and pleasant.My problems as stated before was with Joy her attitude and rude behavior.I never experienced that before at a Holiday Inn or any of the IHG properties.After all I am a Platinum member so I must overall like this group. I have stayed at this property on many occasions and not had any problems in the past. July 12, 2015
