We would like to first thank Amber the customer service clerk at check in. From the second we asked if by chance they had a room available because our condo booking didn't workout in NC she went above and beyond to help make our two night stay at this Holiday Inn a wonderful experience. We can't thank her enough. She saved a vacation in N. Myrtle Beach!
The manager Joy was also very accommodating. The room we were able to get was wonderful very quiet and nice view of the water. I would like to recommend that the workout facility be updated a bit. The treadmill wasn't working the evening I tried to use it. Other than that the facility is well maintained. We would go back there in a heart beat! Thanks again for going above and beyond to accommodate us on such short notice.

some items (shower for example) could use some attention.
back deck needs umbrellas and ashtrays. There were cigarette butts tossed on the deck.

My wife and I spent a week here on vacation and loved it. The room was great, great ladies at the front desk, very polite, always ready to help. The room was great, clean, and well kept. Our maids were right on time everyday . At checkout everything was great, bill was correct. The restaurant in the hotel has a lot to be desired, The food is cold, no cinnamon buns the first day the lady said they ran out, how do you run out of food when you are in the middle of your busy season? Everything is great except the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go out to breakfast. As a spire member I wish the coffee was in the lobby area all day and night. I have never seen a hotel that locks up the coffee pots at night, most ihg has coffee in the lobbies. We will be back next year and I would recommend this hotel..
