We have stayed here before so i knew exactly what to expect. I brought my Australian friend with me this time as she wanted to visit Liverpool. She was not disappointed and loved every minute of it. The room overlooked the docks and was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly. The only niggle but this is really picky, is that she would have liked a little more variety at breakfast, for example she wanted black pudding and the plates are rather small, this is probably so you dont overfill your plate. All in all, she loved everything about the hotel and that was what the weekend was all about,

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Heather T Great Location, service and building
Positives : quick and efficient check in, very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely building and great location. Room we had was large with lovely vaulted brick ceilings. Comfortable bed. tea & coffee facilities, flat screen TV, hairdryer etc.
Negatives : Not serious but just to be aware. Our room was overlooking the river and above the bar next door so there was some noise in the morning opening up and street noise - this is because we had the window open and are not particularly early risers. The breakfast was sufficient and I didn't have the cooked breakfast, just the (tinned) fruit and yoghurt with small pastries. The hot breakfast looked OK, beans, scrambled egg and sausages.
However, for the price it is really good value and would absolutely stay there again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ingy60 Exellent location for shopping in Liverpool, bad breakfast
Exellent location for shopping and dining in Liverpool, walking distance to Liverpool One, Chinatown, Central Station. Disappointed about the lack of storage, aircondition, safe and minibar in the room. Sound insulation was not good, was "entertained" by the couple in the next room. They really need to improve the breakfast, huge disappointment. No outside space for smokers, only an ashtray by the entrance.
