Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Clean tidy and cheap Unfortunately the rooms have very poor or no soundproofing. Able to hear next room conversation, and television even when on a very low volume. I would not expect an adjoining room to have to endure our noise at any time, especially at night when people are trying to sleep. However the room and facilities were fine. They were very warm and there were only heaters- no air conditioning. The room was very warm overnight despite having turned the heating off and there being a frost overnight! Couldn't really open the window as it is a motorway side hotel. However beds and pillows were very comfortable. April 21, 2016

Found them quick and willing to help whatever our request. Disabled room well kitted out, clean and comfortable. Scrambled egg at breakfast best I've had even compared to hotels costing considerably more. Would definitely recommend this excellent value hotel and will look to use the same chain again in future trips elsewhere. April 16, 2016

Our 4-night stay started with an unusually unfriendly HI Express welcome that was followed by a lack of a normal "good morning" from HIE front desk staff every morning. Breakfast, especially over the weekend, was chaos. There were lots of guests, as in many HIEs, but no apparent system to cope with the demand. There did not appear to be any person responsible for managing the staff and ensuring that guests were able to find what they wanted when they wanted it. A disabled toilet hot water tap reported as broken on day 1 of our stay remained in the same condition throughout our stay. Parts of the hotel looked tired and in need of an up-date and certainly the management and staff should visit other HEIs to see how to deliver customer-friendly communications. April 8, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by All basic needs satisfied Arrived late but from experience know that's the best time to find it easy to park the car at this hotel due to the number of 'conferences/courses' that are held here! Room was fine, although chairs are a little bit uncomfortable for sitting and working for any period of time. Overall this was a good overnight stop. April 8, 2016
