Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, but.... We had issues on several occasions with the cleanliness of the rooms (i.e., urine smell in the room.) We have also had several issues with reservations getting messed up. We will not be staying here in the future. April 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by clean room and great breakfast My family and I stayed at this hotel to attend a family funeral. The entire hotel was nice and clean, breakfast was great. Only drawback while we were there was the fact that the pool/hot tub was "out of order". Clerk said they were waiting on parts to come in to fix it. Bummer for us as we really could have used the relaxation. Several different places to eat close by. April 9, 2015

Only problem we had with our stay is that the pool was out of order and they said it had been down for a week. That was our main reason for staying at the hotel was so our grandkids could swim while we were visiting with them. April 9, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking in room Reserved non-smoking room. Immediately on arrival was overwhelmed by the extremely strong smell of smoke in the room. Did not check in till later in the afternoon, would have thought the smell from the previous guest that supposedly checked out at standard 11 am checkout time, would not have been so present. I would not hesitate to assume perhaps staff cleaning/working in the room may have been smoking in the room, that is how strong it was. Noticed there was a sign that was very visible in room stating that anyone smoking in room would be charged 150.00. Called the front desk to report, so that I would not be the one charged. Asked to be moved to another room. The hotel was booked for the Valentine's Holiday weekend, no other available rooms to transfer to. Did offer to have housekeeping come and spray "a very strong industrial spray that will eliminate odor very quickly". I would have thought the staff cleaning, after previous guest, would have done that once they encountered the smell, while preparing room for next guest. Opted not to have chemical sprayed. Traveling with my teen daughter, hated that she had to tolerate the smell, we are a non-smoking family and it was quite nauseating. Opened the window to air out the room and the window seal was full of cigarette ashes. Middle of winter, thank goodness the heater worked, so with the cold blowing wind, once the room aired out the next day, it was a more pleasant atmosphere. If there would have been another hotel in the area, would have left, since no others rooms were available. Everything else however was fine. Would recommend with a FYI attached. February 18, 2015
