Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by World Class Why choose the Holiday Inn Express whenever you are in Lompoc? CLEANLINESS: The staff and maintenance crew really do a great job keeping things in working order. Our room was very clean and neat. Everything worked and we had no problems. The breakfast buffet was always kept neat and clean too. The hardworking staff member in the dining area was always on top of keeping the food hot and stocked. Just terrific. HONESTY: What can I say? We inadvertently left an entire bag of souvenirs even after we thought we checked the room before we left. Housekeeping diligently turned our items in and the front desk sent them to us pronto. Not only was the front desk kind and professional on the phone, we felt they went above and beyond to get our things back to us right away. Top notch communication skills on their part meant we received our items back with the least amount of shipping charges and no problems whatsoever. I give them an A+ for the way they handled our issue front to back. QUALITY: Everything worked. Our room amenities, the business center, the dining room were all clean and in great condition. SERVICE: As mentioned before, the entire front office (AM & PM shift) including Christy and Paola, know how to take care of the guests. This hotel is our choice whenever we decide to visit Lompoc because the staff really sets their standard high and we really appreciate it! P.S. Thank you for recommending the restaurant Thai Kitchen and Jalama Beach Cafe. Both places were absolutely wonderful! April 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service, but amenities need work I stay at this location for 2-3 weeks every year, and the fact that I continue to come back year after year is a ringing endorsement. Customer service is excellent, with the front desk staff and management very attentive and helpful. There were a few issues during my last visit, however. Most notably was the complete absence of a WiFi signal in my room. Coupled with no cellular signal in my room (not the hotel's problem, of course), this was fairly inconvenient. I contacted the front desk about the problem, who dispatched a tech to evaluate, but the problem was not fixed during my stay. Others in my group did not have this problem, so I'm confident the low signal strength was isolated to my room and/or general area. The breakfast is fantastic, with great service and a wide selection of complementary items (both hot and cold). Hot food items (eggs, breakfast meats) are alternated between scrambled eggs & sausage on one day, and a cheese omelet and bacon on the next. For long term stays, this does tend to get a bit old, but if you're only staying for a day or two this is perfectly acceptable. All in all, I highly recommend HIE Lompoc and will definitely be back in the future. February 20, 2013

This Holiday Inn must be known for hiring models but they actually do their jobs well. New carpet in the rooms make this the best stay in Lompoc. Great job everyone ,,,, keep it up...
