Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another great stay This was just a quick one-night stay in London before heading home to Ireland... I had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Express - Croydon. The welcome was warm, the room was clean, comfortable and pleasant and breakfast next morning was spot on! Staff all very pleasant as usual. June 8, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Passing trough One Lift was out of service and the other one did not work properly. After going up to the 3rd floor via the stairs, the card of,the room did not work. The coffee machine was out of service. The woman at the reception desk explained us where,we could park the car for only £9. She just forgot to tell us that there was a market and that we could not go that direction. We then had to.park the car and paid £19. Wifi is only available in the reception area. Room was very basic but clean. June 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of my favourites The hotel is close to London, check in is fast and speedy they know me and great me by my first name. The room and the keys were ready and waiting. They put me on a high floor on the quiet side which is what I asked for. They provide a free drink from the bar a priority club member. They also gave me a welcome letter. The room was cleaned well and appointed this one of the few hotels that give the person the choice to set what temperature they want. The hotel now does evening meals which is great yet they were all curry based. Check out was quite fast as well, I like this hotel as the city is only a short train ride away. May 28, 2013

The hotel, and the staff were good and just what you expect from HI Express, but driving there is a nightmare!...after staying at this Hotel last week I've just received £195 (3 x £65) worth of Fines from Croydon Borough Council for driving in 'Pedestrian Zones'. Both on the approach to the Hotel while following Sat Nav, and when trying to negotiate the 5mile round trip to the recommended car park, there are not very clearly signed posted 'Pedestrian Zones', which because it's a one way street system it's very difficult to avoid these zones. You then get hefty fines in the post from CCTV Cameras. Avoid taking your car to this hotel! May 20, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ideal location basic hotel but with excellent staff The room was basic and comfortable and the location very central but it was the staff here that were really excellent. Nothing was too much trouble including printing, photo-copying and posting clothes which I had by accident left behind! May 16, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not bad, poor parking and perstitant front desk parking is bad and was directed 5 miles away, not great. the worst part was on arrival after been up since 4am and done a full days work plus 250 miles driving was to be forced into signing up for some rewards cards, I was knackered and ll I wanted to do is get to my room and get some rest.
