hotel was fine, the staff were good but slow in taking orders at the bar, breakfast was good, parking was an issue.

Gut: Lage, Preis, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit des Personals. Reichhaltiges aber einfallsloses Frühstück.
Schlecht: Dreckiger Hinterhof: Müll und laute Lkw's.
Zugige und sehr laute Klimaanlage.

The price for HIX Croydon during the week days is fair, considering its location and good railway connection to central London. Th room is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. However, there're some annoying noise came from downstairs at night and the isolation isn't good in the room. Also the breakfast is mediocre at the best, though I've seen worse in other HIX hotels. The good things there're plenty of fast food options nearby such as Subway, KFC, McDonald's and Burger King. Overall it's a good option if you travel to/from Gatwick and look for a budget option in a well-connected location.

Lovely staff great location for central Croydon and transport into London. Rooms could be better improved compared to other HIE hotels I've stayed at. Parking situation is very bad. Avoid driving there if you can. Need of some investment TLC but not a bad place to stay.

One night, two different rooms and in both air conditioner was not working... had to sleep with window open (and welcome outside noise) due to room's air was getting too thick for me

1. I have been very, happy with the hotel and so were some of my fellow guests.
2. We checked in, speedily and went to our rooms, right away.
3. my family was able to contact me on phone, at all times.
4. The reward programme was active and very useful.
5. I and my family, friend are very, very happy with the price and the service.

the parking was described as limited, however not that only 7 spaces are available. I would have stayed somewhere else had I known this.
