Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Resumé nach 6 Tagen Währund unseres sechstägigen Touristenaufenthalt empfanden wir folgendes: Personal: Rezeptionspersonal: zwar höflich und korrekt, jedoch nur eine einzige Mitarbeiterin empfehlenswert freundlich Frühstückspersonal: wirklich fleißig, doch leider wirkten sie alle demotiviert und ausgebrannt Zimmer: klein, aber zweckmäßig. In einigen Bereichen wäre eine Modernisierung nötig Badezimmer: sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir benötigten. Leider schlechte Beleuchtung zum Rasieren. Etwas verwohnt Lage: außerhalb des inneren Stadtkerns, daher immer ein paar Haltestellen mit der Tube nötig. Zwei Haltestellen in der Nähe (jeweils ca. 5 Min. zu Fuß). Direkte Umgebung fragwürdig und bei Dunkelheit nicht empfehlenswert. Frühstück: Buffet zum Richtig-Sattwerden. Wir hatten diesmal etwas Pech mit der Getränkequalität (ist jedoch nicht die Regel - wir waren schon mal in diesem Hotel und da war alles prima) May 1, 2014

However, staff repeatedly tried and ultimately succeeded in charging me when this was an award stay (claimed it was accidental.) Die Lage ist ok, man braucht von Hotel mit der U-Bahn ca. 20 min bis Picadilly Circus Im Zimmer wäre ein Schrank nett gewesen, wir lebten aus dem Koffer. Die Matraze des Betts war sehr weich, die der Klappcouch dagen zu hart. Das Frühstücksbuffet war so la la. Getränke, Brot und Müsliauswahl war gut. Als Aufschnitt nur Käse, keine Wurst. Das Rührei ging so, der dazu eigentlich obligatorische Bacon fehlte komplett - schade, das erwarte ich eigentlich bei einem englischen Frühstück. April 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay We enjoyed our stay at Earl's Court. It is definitely not in the middle of all the action and is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the nearest Tube (West Kensington). However, the hotel and staff really made the difference. They were very friendly and attentive. West Kensington is on one of the main lines and quick and easy to get most anywhere in London. The morning breakfast is the same every day and can get a little crowded at peak time. However, the staff really does a great job in keeping the dining area tidy and stocked. We never had a problem finding a place to sit and enjoy our breakfast. We thought the selection was good. We liked the coffee machines. Rooms were clean and big enough. We thought the annex rooms were more updated than the main building rooms. Several pubs and grocery stores in the area. We would definitely stay there again. April 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rundum zufrieden Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Die Matratze war uns ein wenig zu weich und es befindet sich kein Schrank im Zimmer (war uns aber bekannt). Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam hilfsbereit und freundlich. Beim Frühstück wurde sofort nach dem Verlassen der Gäste abgeräumt, sodass der Tisch unverzüglich wieder genutzt werden konnte. April 23, 2014

However breakfast is a no go as you have to wait in a line like getting ticket concerts. The main problem is that they added new rooms but kept the breakfast room small size so walk down the road and have a nice breakfast at a café instead. April 21, 2014

The staff was friendly and helpful. They even called a taxi for us. They also helped us by giving us ways to our destinations. The breakfast was poor choice & they didn't change the variety everyday. example: no bacon,ice tea etc... The hotel should have more entertainment & stuff like games room,swimming pool,gym & more stuff for children. Next time would choose it as my next hotel although I was in London United Kingdom in Holiday Inn Express 3 times. If there is the Holiday Inn Express in my next destination I would certainly choose it. April 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent On arrival we had a very good check in experience. We were allocated rooms 510 and 512, exactly what you would expect clean and tidy excellent base. Only later we all noticed "The noise" we were directly below the air condition units on the roof. Not overly noisy just a constant hum. We contacted reception and Agnes tried to find a change of rooms, none available until next day. Free drinks were given as compensation and new rooms were found next day. While swapping at reception a gentleman behind the desk asked which rooms we had been in and when informed gave a knowing nod. All well in the end , but if a known problem, I feel should have been mentioned when allocated. Thanks Agnes for sorting. March 30, 2014

It is a beautifully updated and very clean hotel, a short walk from West Brompton tube station. Great location if you're attending any events at Earls Court Two. Staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. Rooms are nice and of good size. Lobby is comfortable and offers a vending machine with anything you may have forgotten or lost along the way. Complimentary breakfast is good, but toward the end of each of my weeks I started to want a bit more variety. The wifi was problematic in that during both my stays, I had to continually reconnect sometimes after just a few minutes, entering a long unique code each time. Quite annoying and frustrating while trying to work. I brought it to their attention and was told it disconnects after a few hours. When I said this wasn't my experience, no remedy was offered. Otherwise, this property is a solid place to stay. I would stay again, if I was assured the wifi issues were ironed out. March 29, 2014
