Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Freindly front desk staff. Clean and comfortable room. We liked that the paper was available morning and night. Easy walk to 2 different tube stations. Beds were a little hard but ok. The breakfast was good but a little variety would have been nice since we stayed for 9 days. Over all great stay March 21, 2014

The staff were very good, the rooms are lovely, comfortable, immaculate, bedding spotless, comfortable, not noisy location, breakfast was lovely, hot and fresh coffee. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good experience Overall I had a good experience at this hotel. The breakfast was very good. The staff was cordial and attentive. I'm not sure if it was my phone and the fact that I was overseas but I couldn't connect to the wi-fi. It wasn't a big problem as part of my reason for going on vacation was to not check e-mail all the time. The location was convenient and I felt the neighborhood was fairly nice. I wouldn't mind having a local directory of nearby restaurants, pharmacies, and convenience stores in the hotel. I was pleased with everything and would consider this hotel or another holiday inn in London. March 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable hotel in an excellent position This modern hotel is very comfortable with good amenities and in a good location very near the tube.....the buffet continental breakfast is very acceptable, even when they were mega busy. The heating can be adjusted, which is such a bonus.Nice helpful staff. March 8, 2014

Room was in annex block and really quiet, which was great with 2 young children. Only slight downside is breakfast, cooked items are just sausages, beans and scrambled eggs(which weren't great). You have to queue to go along all the hot/cold/drinks sections in turn. Maybe would be better if split out, so you could just go and get cereal or toast or cooked, not have to wait and go past each section you didn't want to get to what you do want, would also speed things up for people. But saying that, breakfast is enough to keep you going. Staff also gave us a map of local restaurants, which was helpful. March 6, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best sofa bed but staff more than made for it Used the hotel as a base for a weekend in London. The first impression was that of a hotel that had opened recently where everything was still in pristine condition. The room was no frills but nice enough and clean. The sofa bed in the room was not the most comfortable but my six and three year old children didn't seem to mind it The breakfast was more than adequate. Good variety and quality. The staff were outstanding. Courteous, happy to help, with an eye for detail and preempted our every need. Real asset to the Holiday Inn Express brand.Thanks February 28, 2014

Pretty good location for getting into West End, Museums, etc. Staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Rooms well equipped, clean and noise free. We have stayed in this hotel, due to its location, several times over the last few years and this occasion was one of the best. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were attentive and service was good. We tried their new catering service for food on the friday night and this arrived promptly and seamlessly without fuss, even though it was not an in-house company. A wide choice of breakfast items were available but only 3 cooked items now, bacon has been removed from the menu! You don't get any extras with this chain of hotels, like notepad and pen or little bottles of toiletries but you do get great value for money and good service, just right when you are visiting London and merely want to be comfortable and a place to sleep! Being disabled it is in a good location for a nice leisurely walk to the venue and west brompton tube station of which we took full advantage of! The room was standard holiday inn, clean and functional. We were 2 adults and one child in the room. We had dreadful nights sleep because in the dead of night the air conditioning unit was bubbling away loudly like mad! Our son barely slept as the sofa bed was dreadful, dipped in the middle and solid. Shame really. February 25, 2014

The buffet breakfast service was disorganised with a bottle neck at the toaster. The food is the same as all other HIE I've stayed at but the layout of the buffet needs some work as does the re-stocking of the various choices. However overall I would stay here again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Holiday Inn Express We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Our room was modern and well maintained. The bathroom was well lit, roomy and had a large walk in shower. The breakfast selection was as expected for any Express hotel, but what made a big difference was that the food was continually restocked and well presented. The food service area was cleaned regularly and empty plates and bowls on the tables were collected by the staff which made for a more pleasant breakfast experience. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would certainly stay in this hotel again. February 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by short break We stopped for a 1 night stop over, the hotel was clean tidy and welcoming, it was comfortable and i even managed to get a nights sleep. My only moan is the room service for food, its outsourced and this was explained but i decided to give it a go, that was my mistake. It turned up late, cold and wrong, but by this time i was too tired to go out and get a good meal. GO OUT FOR A MEAL. February 20, 2014

Holiday Inn Express to me is pitched perfectly balancing amenities with cost and always a good location. Very good value for money, accompanied with a good night's sleep and a very good breakfast to set me up for the day. I have stopped in a couple of big name hotels in this area before today but I shall specify the EHI to my booking agent in future. It made my business trip away from home considerably more pleasant. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly recommended Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was a good size with very comfortable bed and sofa bed to relax on when having cuppa. Room and bathroom was spotless and shower very powerful. We stuck to continental breakfast which was delicious but there was also hot food on offer. Hotel is well situated at only 5 mins walk to west Kensington tube station with direct route into city centre. My only suggestion for improvement would be a mirror over the desk area as no sockets near existing mirror for using straighteners/ curling tongs. Duty manager kindly lent me an extension cable. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to London. February 13, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good as last year I've stayed in this hotel twice, and this year the furniture was worse off. There were multiple places where I felt the springs through the mattress - even without putting pressure on them. The convertible sofa also had a huge gap on the mattress and you had to lie on a diagonal to avoid the gap. Other than sleep quality, it's an affordable place and well-situated if visiting Earl's Court. It's a little spartan, but it gets the job done. I'm hoping new furniture will bring this back to a 4 star hotel in the future. February 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great hotel, clean and friendly i stayed with my partner for 4 nights, hotel was very good. bus stop just outside the hotel and two stops away you have an underground (district line), staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast was good, wished they had some honey and not jam only. i would definitely stay again if i find this chain when i go again for a holiday. Very attentive staff that remembered my name and were very knowledgeable when information was requested. Clean fresh and very relaxing.
