Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I didn’t expect such exceptional service – Well done HIE - Golders Green I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn, Golders Green during a business trip. Having been on the road for a number of hours I was delighted upon arrive when I was met with such friendly and uplifting staff. Guests that had checked in and those waiting to be all seemed relaxed knowing that they were going to be greeted with the same level of professionalism. I had called ahead to gauge onsite parking and was pleased with the way in which I was dealt with and that parking is free to guests. The room was a little dated but extremely clean and fresh smelling. My room had windows that opened and air condition that worked well. The mattress and pillows were perfect for me, providing me with an exceptional nights rest. Checking out was as pleasurable and arrival, the staff were very attentive and genuinely cared. I will definitely be visiting this location again :o) June 16, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs a refurb!! How this hotel is still allowed to operate under the Holiday Inn Express brand is beyond me! It is in desperate need of refurbishing and money spending on a decent bed ( the one I slept in felt like it cost about 20 quid), a telly that works, most of the channels were fuzzy, and a shower where you didn't have to hold the shower head up with one arm! The car park is also too small for the hotel, thankfully the one helpful member of staff let me park on the service road. Overall I am staggered this is considered suitable for the brand, it is so far removed from a recently renovated one (example Portsmouth North) it is untrue. Will never stay again. Interestingly this is the 2nd review I have left as the first one has not been published, even though reviews left after I did mine have been - how odd!! June 14, 2016

If only Holiday Inn could please re-do the Express Breakfast - Its too limited and was too repetitive for me as I stayed 4nights. June 14, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs renovating Stayed on Thursday night in what is described as a "modern" hotel!! Nothing modern about the room, the tv was ancient and only had a handful of channels working with the rest all fuzzy! The bed was ridiculously hard and no where near the standard of most HIE. The shower head kept falling down and had to be held with one hand whilst having a wash! No doubt the worst HIE room I have ever stayed in! June 10, 2016
