My prepaid voucher showed a booking and arrival of July 29th. The desk manager resolved this situation. August 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by disappointing second visit Stayed at Golders Green Holiday Inn Express previously, and all went well with my stay, comfortable room, nice breakfast, decent internet. This time, however, things were different. My bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, and creaked every time I turned over in bed. The pillows were so hard I abandoned them and used a towel and our room was so sparsely furnished, that i couldn't even sleep on the armchair! We had a desk and chair, and a TV which had seen better days, with a rather iffy picture on some of its limited channels, It meant well, I think as wished me a happy birthday when we switched it on. (alas my birthday is in March!!) and an enormous space where presumably the armchair and table/sofa should have been. To rub salt into the wound, we were there on a Sunday - no dinner, and the wifi was down - so no contact with home, and couldn't do my work emails.... August 7, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff I stayed with my two sons in a family room, it was very good value. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The team at breakfast were particularly friendly. We had no car and the hotel was a good 15 minutes walk from the tube station which was a slight downside but I would still stay there again if I was in the area. July 28, 2014

The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. This hotel is a great location for going into Central London - a short bus ride to the tube station and you're there. This was the second time I have stayed in a month and although I had a minor problem with the sound on the TV on the first visit the overall stay was good so I made another reservation this time for three nights with my wife. We booked in and went to our room and we found that the problem I had reported three weeks before with the sound on the TV was still apparent it was impossible to use BBC 2 as the sound was so distorted . They agreed to move us to a different room the following morning. We moved rooms and found that the problem was just the same with the TV in every room and the maintenance man told me they had a problem with the system and could not resolve it. On the Saturday afternoon we had a lot of problems with noise as a group of teenagers were on our floor running up and down banging and kicking doors which we thought may pose a problem later that evening so reported it to reception and they agreed to speak to them. We returned later that night went to bed and then and the noise started outside in the corridor and this went on and on. We spoke to reception and they sent staff up but the noise continued until 2.00 AM . We spoke to the reception when we checked out and they were most apologetic told us it was a group visit and they would cancel all future booking with them. As I have said the staff were polite and tried to control the situation but this is not what you expect at a Holiday Inn. July 25, 2014

Spoke to the reception and they promised to get it looked at the next morning as I was only staying one night I took the matter no further. Staff are very polite and eager to please. July 25, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room with kosher breakfast included The location for us was good as we needed to be in Golders Green and also convenient for public transport. We require kosher food so the kosher breakfast option was most welcome. Could have used a bit of variety, but it filled our needs. Staff were helpful. The only downside was not enough storage space for clothes--we had come on from a long vacation and were there for a wedding so didn't want to leave them in a suitcase. It would also be helpful to have a second chair in the room. July 21, 2014

Everything is always how it should be and I always take advantage of being able to check the bags in and then dash off to wherever I may be heading. It is great value for money, clean and easily accessible to transport, with a bus stop right outside the door, which makes returning late at night no problem. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This has to be in the worst holiday in express ever It was overbooked and i am furious that despite whatthe online booking system said the recetion person refused to accept it. His arrogance was quite astounding. The second bed was not made up and the night staff moaned bitterly abouttha fact that they had to do it. The beds were uncomfortable and the linen starched creased. Breakfast was joke - they ran out of cups food and dringk and the staff could simply not keep up. Therere were insufficient staff. This hotel seems to be used by big groups and one arriving at midnight threw the reception staff into chaos with food for them being left out and handled by many. Never again will I stay here and if you genuinely want a good nighrs sleep do not stay at a hotel on one of north Londons busiest junctions 24/7 Do not complain you have been warned July 11, 2014

If you're a very light sleeper, make sure you ask for a room overlooking the car park - all the rooms get traffic noise if you sleep with the window open but those are the least noisy! Shower overflow problem was not solved despite reporting it at the reception. Most people kind. We use to feel special as Priority Club members, except this time. There was no difference. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good location, check in stressful had a good stay, the manager/ head receptionist/ breakfast lady where brilliant, however, on check in , it was slow, the young girl asked me to show the card I made the advance payment with. I could not believe this, I am a platinum member! I showed her my card and put it back in my pocket.... then she asks for my card again, to authorise any purchases at the bar I am a platinum member of over 10 years standing, all my information is on my profile surely being a member of ihg rewards should stop me from feeling like a conman June 23, 2014

I stayed a week at this hotel and was very pleased with my choice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff,clean room We stayed here with our 2 teenage daughters who were going to a concert a Wembley, very handy and easy access for the stadium. The noise was a slight issue but didn't keep you awake at night, but being from the countryside we aren't used to it. Would definitely use recommend this hotel and would use it again. June 13, 2014
