Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful stay Thank you, Holiday Inn Express Golders Green, Had a wonderful stay last month and I was pleasantly surprised to be in an affordable hotel in London, close to shops and restaurants, where i could find reasonable quality as well. On my next trip will definitely stay here again. Easy to reach from Luton Airport with the Ezybus and also good transport links by car, but of a walk to the tube station though........ Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very average rooms and stvice I am a platinum elite member and stayed here for 1 night on the 9th While I was acknowledged as a platinum member I was not upgraded The rooms are very basic, no cupboards, no bottled water, and TVs are very old and only get basic 5 channels Room was clean and bed was comfy The free news paper did not arrive until after 11, only found it when i opened the door to check out at 1145 Not the best holiday inn I've stayed at Would only come back as a last resort December 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No heater When I reached, no one informed me that room 401 has no heater. When i went inside the room, I discovered that heater is not working as there was a large fan heater kept inside. A gentle warning from staff would have been nice. I then found that the fan heater was also not working. I called reception and they said that they will send someone. But then after 30-40 min I had to call reception again. It was the night staff who were not handed over anything. So I explained to them again. Finally the nice trainee receptionist brought a heater which worked well throughout the night. While it took some time for the heater to heat up the room I wondered if customers should really be allowed to stay in rooms without heaters on a cold chilly night? I am hoping that this is an exception. Otherwise my stays generally have been good. December 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chain Hotel Perfectly adequate but no trimmings here. The best thing about this hotel is that the car parking is free and a bus to central London runs from the door. Journey time is about an hour to Oxford Street but if you like a ride on the top of a bus spectating it has novelty value. December 13, 2014
