Staff were very helpful and frfiendly, rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a buffet style which was excellent as I had my two children with me.

We stayed on in August this year. Check-in was painful, took ages to find our reservation. Rooms not prepared properly and query not dealt with promptly. breakfast was poor. On the plus side, hotel was nicely deorated, very easy access to tube and parking was very reasonable. Would probably not stay here again.

The hotel is only a short walk to Newbury Park Underground Station, which makes it a good base for sightseeing in London. Although the hotel is located adjacent to the busy A12 road with the window closed the traffic noise is minimal, but in hot weather this could cause problems as the air conditioning is not very efficient. The rooms are a reasonable size, even with the bed settee pulled out. However, there no allowance was made for there being three occupants in the room for towels or tea/coffee cups. The staff were both friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn Express offering, the scrambled eggs were tasteless, the staff struggled to keep the hot buffet items fully stocked and the coffee was not the whole bean offering expected today. Finally, the free wi-fi in the room was slow.

If you encounter no problems you will have a fair stay, otherwise do not count on the guest services manager to care. That lady could not even be bothered to stop what she was doing to come and talk to me.

Sehr gutes Hotel für einen Besuch in London. Hervorragender Service freundliche Mitarbeiter.
Die Tube Station nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

My family and I stayed at this hotel with a wedding party for 2 nights.
On the second morning after the wedding celebrations finished whilst I was having breakfast with my young children, my son asked for some fruit which I promptly got up to get for him from the breakfast serving area HOWEVER I couldn't believe that I was stopped entering the area by a member of your staff who informed me that breakfast is now closed.
I checked my watch and it was 10.30 which I know is when breakfast is stopped being served however I can't believe I couldn't get some fruit especially as I was already seated .
I suggest you offer some leeway especially during the weekend and offer a grace period of a few minutes so that your customers can enjoy their holiday break and not be rushed.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights for a family break. One of the rooms was fine. The second room certainly wasn't.
Hairs in the main bed, a wet stain on the floor outside the bathroom, a leak by the toilet. And the main plug socket by the desk, only 1 would take a plug. 3 people sharing 2 plugs.... not easy to charge 3 phones used for photo's with only 2 plug sockets.
We reported this on the 1st morning, the stain had been dried and the leak no more....but everything else - no change (obviously we removed the hairs, but linen wasn't changed.
Our daughter left her pocket money out on our first full day out, only to find it had been taken on our return. I assume the cleaning thought we were tipping each day.
We spoke to the front desk who said they would have an answer by the next night (our 3rd night#. There was no answer until the 4th night #the money was returned)....although our bin wasn't emptied the 3rd day. Maybe the cleaner felt with a lack of tip, there'd be a lack of cleaning.
Was a bit disappointed that there has been a change with regards to Bacon every other day. The hotel was busy, as you'd hope from a great location, but to run out of Pain au chocolat, clean mugs, and croissants, all on different days, maybe the hotel doesn't expect to be busy, or for people to stay more than 1 night.
We will stay here again, but more so for the cost and the location.
