Food good and great choice. Excellent value for money and access to onward journey to central London. Would definitely recommend. May 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff. We are unaccustomed to London, but felt very well looked after at the Westbury Park Holiday Inn from the moment we arrived until we left. The on site parking and it's £5 per day fee were welcome as was the staff member who came out to direct us to the car park. All of the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful during our stay. Checking in and out went very smoothly. The rooms were clean, adequately furnished and quiet. We don't travel light so could have done with more cupboard/drawer storage. The views from the room over London were spectacular As always I would have preferred a bath to a shower. The breakfast was good, although the hot food was only warm not hot, but the three hour service was a bonus. We were both impressed by the high standards of the hotel and its staff and would have no hesitation to stay there again when/if we need to in the future. May 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Night Sleep ever in a Hotel Having stayed in a variety of different accommodation types including holiday caravans, chalets, B&Bs and hotels, I have found that the sleep I had in this hotel was one of the worst night's sleep I have ever had. This is due to 2 reasons firstly the fact that the pillows were so soft even using both pillows it felt like my head was touching the mattress and when I asked reception for some firm pillows they brought up some soft ones stating that they had no firm pillows. I booked 2 rooms, one for myself and my brother, the second for my parents and little sister. Considering the fact that while booking there was no mention of any family rooms I booked 2 double rooms with a sofa bed. Now having slept in sofa beds a number of times at caravan parks I know that they aren't the most comfortable of sleeping locations, however the sofa beds in this hotel take the cake. In the one room the sofa bed was so worn out that springs were digging into my back all night long so much so that I gave up on sleep completely after a few hours as I was getting serious back pain, and in the other room the mattress was so thin that the metal framework could be felt through it and considering that my sister is very light this is ridiculous. Later on I spoke with the reception staff about this and they just said that a lot of people say the same thing and they should probably replace the sofa beds but this is ridiculous, if a problem is known then it should be dealt with not left to fester like an open wound The only reason why I stayed at this specific hotel was because it was literally round the corner from where I needed to be and provided breakfast which was decent at best, however having stayed in other hotels in the area which do not provide breakfast, I will definitely not be staying at this hotel again later in the year when I return to Ilford. The literal backache and extra cost associated with staying in an IHG hotel is not worth it and I will be staying at other hotels which offer better beds and rooms May 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and convenient If you are looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced London hotel, with parking and close to the Central Line tube, this is for you. And the stunning view of the central London skyline is an added bonus as is the breakfast. If you are too tired to go out to eat in the evening they also have a dining room.
