Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Carlos77 A week in Holiday Inn Hammersmith
Overall a pleasant and nice stay. Breakfast could be (especially at long stays) a little bit more varied.
Very comfortable is the free Wifi.

After reserving an apartment for a week's stay in London, and finding it to be uncomfortable and dirty, we sought other accommodations for the rest of our trip. We were pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn Express! It essentially saved our London vacation!
The room was comfortable and quiet (despite being right off of busy and noisy King Street#, the staff all were hospitable and accommodating, the daily breakfast was satisfying, and the easy accessibility to Hammersmith shops and the tube #to London and Heathrow) was quite convenient! The room was clean, and well made up each day. It was a pleasant place to return to after each of our daily excursions.
The cost was reasonable by London area standards. I highly recommend this Hotel to any London visitors!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nickyl22 Great base for London
Perfect base for exploring London if you want value for money. Spotlessly clean, staff very accommodating and nice to have a central area for parties to gather within the hotel to have a drink without having to go out. My only criticism would be that the food area is slightly small for busy periods, no bacon available and food could have been hotter.

Good sized room for London. Clean. Efficient, friendly staff. Location OK, Hammersmith is not close to the center and main attractions, but is served by a number of tube lines. Good value for money.

The staff made me feel very much at home from reception, check in, breakfast and through out my stay until checkout. I will use this hotel again on my next visit to London.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dlam9147 Simple no fuss hotel with great service without restaurant
We have stayed in this hotel at least once a year for the last 10 years. I never had a reason to complain and prices have gone up only slightly over the years. The rooms are confortable and of reasonable size. Option for connecting rooms are available. The hotel provides a luggage storage facily should come in early before check-in time or should ou wish to stay around longer the check-out time. The personnel is always kind and correct. The hotel has a little bar and some snacks. The large breakfast room can even be used in the evenings should you wish to bring something to eat on site. Short walking distance from hammersmith bus and tube station. Easy connections to eurostar.
Highly recomended

Halfway through my stay the breakfast buffet changed. New serving platters were introduced for the hot items (good, as the tilted hot-box was no good for storing round sausages!).
However, they have removed both FRESH FRUIT and the little mini-muffins from the breakfast menu.
Given the price (circa £140 a night) I'd at least expect a fresh banana.
A wider choice on the breakfast (more than 1 cheese, bacon, better quality breads) would reflect far better on the price paid.
