Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ok hotel, price too high, internet inferior Hotel was adequate for a stay, but not really the quality I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express locations. The room was ok, serviceable, but not "fresh" other than the pillows. The bathroom was fine, but not exceptional. The internet was not good, I paid for higher speed service, but in fact, could see little gain. It did not work for one full day, I communicated this to the front desk, and they were finally able to contact the IS support, but it was not a "quick fix." However, on the plus side, the staff was very welcoming and pleasant. They were quick to offer suggestions and were very supportive. The breakfast was also very good, the food was hot and of good quality. I would like to have had more fresh fruit available, but this could be a result of the time of year. November 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD LOCATION FOR YOUR NEEDS Stayed 1 night before going into central London for Rememberance Sunday with 4 day hotel parking inluded in my stay to avoid all the hassle of driving,parking,congestion charges etc.We went to The Tower of London and stayed overnight in The Tower Hotel,returning to pick up the car on Monday afternoon.Worked out fine.3 minute walk to Canning Town station,Choice of bus/train/DLR.Instead of an Oyster card for travel on public transport,used contactless bank debit card for all travel and it was great.Card opens all barriers and deduts the cost of your journey as you go along.Ideal for central London or 02 arena or Emerites airline November 13, 2014

However, the staff were some of the poorest that I have ever encountered. Only the gentleman who was on the front desk who checked me in was well-trained. The others were sloppy in their appearance and their attention to the clients. Often they were too busy chatting with each other to be of any assistance to people. I felt as if I was imposing on their private party rather than expecting service. For this I blame the management, they need to enforce IHG standards for their employees. November 12, 2014
