Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay at Holiday Inn Stratford I stayed for 2 nights on business at the Stratford holiday inn , the food was of superb quality , the staff were very friendly , the rooms very clean , tidy , good shower , quiet room , very good nights sleep, the breakfast was very good , The Angus burger was the BEST burger I have ever eaten , I have even been telling my friends that I have finely tasted the best No.1 burger , WELL DONE to the chef. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by stratford april 2013 We had a nice comfortable stay at this hotel.. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. They have had new beds in all rooms and the choice of hard or soft pillow is a small but subtle touch. My only little gripe is breakfast. The thought of waking up to a cooked breakfast is appealing however... no bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms ? The chef was helpful in that you can have as many sausages as he can cook..it just took the edge off of the stay. But still a great weekend and would recommend this hotel . May 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fairly Ok Experience We stayed here twice in one weekend. Our first stay was great. We loved our room on the third floor. However on our second stay we were placed on the fourth floor and the room seemed worn out. As for breakfast, as someone who's worked in the hospitality industry, I would suggest having someone constantly replenishing the sausages etc. instead of waiting until it is completely done to have guests waiting forever for it to be replenished. Also, the variety is quite limited. We did not eat most of what was offered. By the way, bananas should be ripe and not fairly green and hard. I also believe towels should be replaced once a day instead of every other day as there is no place to get them dried. Makes no sense to reuse a wet bath towel. Other than that the overall look of the hotel is nice and clean and staff are great. Despite our issues above, we will definitely return as we were able to relax and get away from our hectic lives for a little bit. April 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay! It was only a 1 night stay for my 8 yr old daughter and I. We were going to a concert at the O2 so it was a great location - only 4 stops on the tube. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. Enjoyable stay at a good price! Would have liked an additional bedcover/blanket & softer pillows, would have requested for a longer stay. Went to a concert at the O2, very convienent location, used DLR & tube to North Greenwich. Lovely selection for breakfast, would recommend & would be happy to use again. April 7, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Location vs. comfort Location is ideal for central London and the offer is your standard multi national company fayre but they have taken efficiency to a whole new level. Room was freezing and even a call to reception could not change that. Take your thermals! Otherwise it's fine. March 21, 2013
