Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location in Pimlico Hotels are expensive in London but the standard is good and the location is superb. Close to Victoria and right next to Pimlico tube. We had to go very suddenly to London for a medical emergency and the staff were very helpful over the four days we were there. Unlike most holiday inn express hotels this is a traditional building, well converted. Breakfast can be quite "intimate! but everyone is encouraged by this to be friendly. We thoroughly recommend it. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff We used this hotel as we were seeing a show in Victoria, so it was a short walk away. Although a lot smaller than other Holiday Inns we have stayed in, the reception was nice and air conditioned and we were greeted by a member of staff at the desk. As the front area was air conditioned, we were surprised there was none in the room. I think this was the only down side, as we happened to be there on a very hot day and the room was stifling, even though the windows were open. The fan we found in the wardrobe was a little help - better than nothing. Apart from this, the room was clean, the staff very friendly and the breakfast was really nice. August 25, 2015

No air condition, no refrigerator, no ice, no cups in the rooms, no iron or ironing board, no parking, very small and even worse if you are from the USA. August 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to the expected Holiday Inn standard Okay, well the location was very good for the theatre, but that was all that was going for it. The room was absolutely tiny, with barely enough room to walk either side of the small double bed. Yes, it was a hot day but why no air conditioning in the rooms? The lobby was air conditioned and we seriously considered sleeping in the lobby as the room was unbearably hot. A small noisy fan and an open window don't work in central London! The bathroom was a compete bodge-job with bad sealant all around the shower, so the moment the shower was turned on the floor floods ! As an IHG member you do have some standards, and this hotel failed to meet any of them. Avoid... August 24, 2015
