Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MelbSK Comfortable, quiet room, friendly service.
Stayed for 2 nights. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. The location, adjacent to Colliers Wood Underground station was very convenient. The only glitch was the unavailability of WiFi in my room. However, reception was excellent in the lobby. Overall a very enjoyable stay and positive experience,

This hotel is clean, comfortable and allows for a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable.
The parking is costly however I feel should be included in the cost of the hotel.

Very quiet nice atmosphere, friendly staff, super clean rooms, would definitely stay again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tonoch Good choice
We stayed at this hotel for three nights while viviting London. Worked quite well as it is well connected with the underground train system. Our room was a bit noicy as it was quite close to the street, but other than that we enjoyed the stay.

The hotel rooms are very dated and are in need of a refurb.
Nice bar area, but not much choice for food or drink

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by StandBackAndThink Disappointing for Holiday Inn
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in June 2014. The hotel is located next to Colliers Wood station, NOT Wimbledon, so we had to get a taxi from Wimbledon. The hotel is modern, very clean and reasonably quiet too (though watch out for noise from the pub next door). The restaurant was very disappointing with only two choices of main meal - both curry/Indian food. The breakfast service area is tiny for the size of hotel so watch out for the rush at breakfast. The aircon seemed to go off in the middle of the night both nights - perhaps to save cost - not nice! Overall, disappointing by Holiday Inn standards!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Java2004 Convenient Location
Stayed here for a week (2 rooms) while visiting London. Very convenient to tube (across street), with easy access to central London. Rooms are modern, clean, with comfortable bed. The sofa bed needs a better mattress, though. Bathrooms were large (for Europe), with a very good shower.
Breakfast area is large and comfortable, and staff did very well keeping food stocked and tables clean during busy mornings.
Wi-Fi was awful. Have to enter lengthy ID and password each time you use your computer or unlock phone - network would not remember credentials. Connection would drop often also.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by alfaman Room OK - bathroom needed attention
Stay here regularly (about fortnightly) - room was OK but shower was impossible to use in the morning, as the shower head constantly "drooped" whilst in use and water pressure poor.
Sink plug would not stay in the plug hole - difficult to shave when the water constantly runs away.
Brought to attention of reception at checkout - which was met with indifference./ No offer of room refund or voucher for next stay.
Could do better!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nigel3714 Holiday Inn Express Colliers Wood
This is one of the best Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed in. The rooms are up to date, very modern with excellent fittings and furnishings. With secure parking and a tube station right outside, access to central London is easy and quick.
The staff are efficient and friendly.

Stayed here for a single night when attending the Greyhound derby final at wimbledon greyhound stadium. Good location for the track. Staff were excellent, very polite, professional and the hotel seemed to run very efficiently. Room was nice,a little small perhaps but perfectly adequate and very clean with a modern and spotlessly clean bathroom. Breakfast was fine, not a huge selection of cooked food but plenty enough for most people i would imagine and all freshly cooked and tasty.Look forward to returning for next years greyhound derby final, wouldnt stay anywhere else in this area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TOAODS Perfect stop for Greyhound Derby
I booked for a quality stay near the Wimbledon greyhound stadium. Hotel was as expected very busy for that night but met some lovely people over for the same reason. A few drinks and chat with fellow residents helped round the night off. Definitely be booking for next year and will recommend my friends do too. When booking by phone received fantastic assistance from Dana, who listened to my requirements and helped complete my reservation. Not only that she remembered our conversation when I checked in. Service at it's best and with a smile.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lorrie41 Ideal for getting into central London easily
Be aware - if you pay for parking (£15 per night) but then leave the hotel you may come back to find someone has your space and there is nowhere for you to park! On Saturday a friend and I did the Moonwalk for breast cancer, we had planned to park the car at Clapham Common where the walk started/finished so that we could get back to the hotel easily as we knew we wouldn't be finished until 5am ish. On checking into the hotel I checked that we would be able to have access to the car park during the early hours hours (it's a shutter door so you have to be let in) the receptionist then said that they couldn't guarantee there would be a space on our return - even though we'd paid! They just keep letting people in to park! Ridiculous as the car park is very small so you would think they could put a simple booking system in place. I half expected to get back to the room and find someone else in my bed!!!
The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful and the breakfast was dire - I guess as it's 'free' they feel they don't need to make an effort with the standard and choice of food they put out? There is a Premier Inn very close by, I think I will be using that in future!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Geoff123 We have come to rely on Holiday Inn Express
Thank goodness we now get free wifi !!!!!!!! At long last. We think that the parking charge should have been revealed on the Room Cost Page before the Your Booking Has Been Confirmed when it is too late. Otherwise everything was as it should be.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Franky goes to London Günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für Familien in London

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kirstyo excellent hotel
I stayed at hotel recently for 3 nights and found it exactly what we required. It is 1 minute walk from colliers wood tube station, which was perfect for the tube link to all the tourist attractions we wanted to see. it was 1 minute walk from a burger king and another restaurant that was kid friendly. There was also a sainsburies there and a shopping centre(we never made it in to this). I did think the breakfast could have been varied a bit it was the same every morning, but it suited the children and we didn't go hungry. although I slept on the sofa bed fine, I did feel the sheets didn't fit properly and moved all the time. but it didn't stop me from sleeping.
overall hotel was very clean all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bloke Great but awful sofa bed
Excellent location - breakfast was good but chaotic due to being busy as London marathon weekend but staff coped as best as they could which was commendable - if didn't help everybody taking croissant for the day.
Only issue was the sofa bed in our room as the mattress was about 3 inches thick and had a dip in the middle so was uncomfortable other than that was a great hotel to stay at.

Spacious rooms, comfortable, good showers and free internet, good breakfast.
Be aware that the rooms adjacent to Colliers Wood are noisy with the traffic and ambulances from st Georges. This does die down by around 11 PM.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Millipede60 Overnight stay
TV in room - not really a concern for us as we were out of the hotel for most of our stay- and the shower extractor fan both not functioning. Mentioned this to reception on check-out, for the benefit of future guests, but received no apology or interest from the receptionist. Breakfast good but lacking choice when compared with competitors. Room quiet but dingy with low wattage lighting not adequate.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DZ57 Unfortunate Experience
Unfortunately stay ruined by the noise of a Holiday Inn advertising banner grating against its metal moorings on the outside wall which made sleep very difficult.
When the problem was mentioned to staff there was very little empathy other than an acknowledgement that guests in a neighbouring room had an equally unpleasant night

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LizW56 Quiet room and a good nights sleep
We arrived at 11am and asked to check in early,we were allowed to and also given a quiet room on the back of the hotel when we asked for one.It was exceptionally quiet compared to the noisy road at the front. The public areas were clean, quiet and well kept and the breakfast was not the usual holiday inn express scrum as staff were busily clearing and refilling constantly making it a much more pleasant experience than usual.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Trixie12 Conveniently located opposite underground station
My 3rd stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express. Excellent as always. I'll be back.
I appreciate the convenient location, opposite an underground station. Near high street shops and Sainsbury's/ M&S superstores.
Breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms are modern.
Slight drawback was this time my room faced the main busy street instead of facing the side (quieter). But, hey, I guess I cannot always have a room facing the side and it depends on availability.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by horrixtravels Good hotel but...
Arrived late evening and promptly dealt with by efficient and pleasant staff. No mention of gold elite status and no extras offered. Room was really nice, clean comfortable. Very warm in the room even with Air Con on lowest setting. Unable to open window because of road noise outside.
Good breakfast with eating areas well stocked and kept clean.
All thats missing is the personal touch and maybe a bit cooler option on the air con.
