My first impressions as regular hotel user was a good one. I had e-mail'd ahead and requested an early check in which they said they would provide if a room was available. It was and I got an early check in. Things started to go downhill after that. I could not connect to the internet. I was told to 'Come to reception' and they would sort it out. They could not and admitted that there had been problems over the past few days. They apologised and said they would try and get it fixed and let me know updates. I asked what alternatives I had. They said 'None'. In the evening there was still no internet and I spoke to the duty manger while had a meal, who said she would make a note and make sure I was told when it was fixed. The next day was still the same and no contact, so I wrote an e-mail to the manager. The e-mail was not acknowledged and no contact with me was made at all. On check out 3 days later I complained about it and the staff at reception apologised that it had not be read and nothing had been done to contact me. This must be the poorest hotel I have been to for public relations. Apart from this on the Friday morning the sausages were burnt and there was no plain yoghurt and was told there was none. I had to arrange internet credit for my laptop and at check out was asked if they took my meal off the bill was that OK. I said yes because by this time I was late leaving but still very unhappy.

Great pillows... and that's about it for the good reviews. The double beds are very narrow for American standards, and with a third bed in the room there were hardly any room to turn around. Missing hooks and places to put your luggage/clothing, only 5 hangers available.
Breakfast was complete disaster; way to many people and not enough food or staff. Tables were dirty and both mornings we stayed there we had to shift dirty dished over to another table to be able to sit down anywhere. Constant out of various food items, and when they arn out of coffee, the alternative was boiling water and instant coffee.
The location, if you are a tourist to London, is NOT good. We ended up spending lot of time and money somply to get between the hotel and London attractions, but I guess that's my fault for not studying the map well enough.
