Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and made us feel at home. The bed and pillows were better than many other places we have stayed. Thank you for a good weekend.

Very nice stay, staff were amazing. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Couldn't get out of our beds they were so comfortable, and no matter how busy they seem they were at night we felt like we were the only ones, so quite . All in all felt like home.

The hotel looked updated (carpet, paint, decorations, etc.). Was told that the beds were newer, but it did not feel new. The staff was nice, but there was no recognition for being a Priority Club Platinum member. The room was o.k., but there was grease on the desk and crumbs all over the ottoman. I wiped the desk with a white towel and it came up brown/black. The room was surface clean, but it needed to be deep cleaned. There were also stains on the lounge chair and desk chair. Overall it was a nice looking hotel, but as I said, the room could use a deep cleaning (got to move a bed and sweep under the bathroom cabinet every now and then).

My wife and I appreciate Holiday Inn Express. My only heartburn is the process of making a simple reservation while on the road. We live in Michigan & our youngest daughter attends college in North Carolina so we make the drive often. Our preference is to drive as far as we can safely then start watching for your signs or google the closest. I want to call the DESK PERSON and not a call center reservation person. I want the best price I can get without haggling, it should not be a different price every time I call We are tired and on the road, we want simplicity and value and comfort. Right now based on our last stay (London, KY) you only got 2 out of 3, and it was not the London staff that was the problem. I spent at least 10 minutes in a restaurant parking lot going through automated systems trying to make reservations while my wife was ordering dinner. If we continue to have issues we will just call the generic hotel 800 number & take our chances.

Room was great, very comfy beds and quiet. Small town not much to do but was only here for 1 night so didnt do much exploring, next time though will try to make it a weekend getaway.

No matter if we have a reservation or not. We have always been able to get a room for the night at anytime during the evening or night.

I have stayed at many HIE's before including this one. This property was just OK. The room door would not lock with dead bolt and required a healthy slam just to get to close. I made reservation for four people but there was only towels for three. The breakfast rolls were gone an hour before the end of the breakfast time. Room was clean and hotel was quite.
