We just spent one night and the room was excellent, we did not eat the breakfast but, I noticed that they had a pancake machine and normal breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location between gulf port and bay st. louis the two shopping area's I love.
The hotel met all our needs/great room and great breakfast choices.

Very Quiet Room , clean, staff friendly and the breakfast Buffet was the Best ever, big selection and the one person staff member provides you with the best service possible in a very sincere and professional manner. You will be amazed that she strives to satisfy everyone so they will have a lasting positive memory of their stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

I am an IHG Platinum Member, so I do enjoy most IHG experiences, however; the experience I had at this hotel was terrible.
I arrived at the hotel at 7:30 PM last Monday night and was greeted by an employee who seemed to rather be anywhere else but the hotel.
My Platinum status was never mentioned and the first room I was given was Room 514. When I got to my room, it was wide open and had not been cleaned. Empty soda cans everywhere and unmade bed.
I went back downstairs and told her of the problem. She said.."No way...housekeeping is going to be in trouble on this one!" But she never apologized for my inconvenience. She said she had another room, but it was higher priced as it faced the beach. I reminded her that a Platinum Member was always eligible for the best available room in the hotel for free.
So I got my key cards, got back upstairs to the new room only to have the key cards not work. I went back downstairs and told her of this problem. She said, "Huh, they should work, did you carry them next to your phone?" Again, no apology. I finally got into my room one hour after checking into the hotel.
I have always preferred IHG hotels, but I am now re-thinking my choice. I stayed in competitive brand hotels the remainder of the week and was very impressed with their rooms and service. It may be time to make the switch.

when we arrived there was a ball team checking in also and apparently were having a discrepancy with room rates. one of the men with ball team was giving your front desk clerk a very hard time.
. he was loud and irate and demanding but she looked him right in the eye the whole time he was yelling at her and never cowered or gave in or said anything out of the way. I would hope I would have the composure that she did if I have to come up against people like he was. he was very rude and obnoxious. she was great !
