Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service in a Time of Grief We arrived late at our Holiday Inn Express due to severe thunderstorms; however, we were warmly greeted by name and quickly checked into the hotel. The staff had graciously changed our reservation so that we might be across the hall from others in our family who were attending the funeral services of a family member. We appreciated this change made the same evening we arrived. Check-in was completed so that all we had to do was pay with our credit card. The room itself was as advertised; beds were comfortable, room very clean, bathroom well-furnished, room temperature, comfortable upon arrival! The following morning's breakfast was quite adequate, and we enjoyed it from a table overlooking the pool and gulf beyond. Check-out was a breeze! We hope to go back under happier circumstances. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handicap Rooms People who use a walker are by the far the majority of handicapped travelers. They need regular shower with hand grabs not a bathtub in a room, they do not need room for wheel chair to move around in the room therefore there could be two queen or regular sized beds in a room rather than one king. Having no choice when it comes to the number of beds in a room with a shower/walkin or wheel in is not good. Many handicapped travel with someone other than a spouse and we really need two beds. Two beds and a step in tub with a chair is just NOT the same thing. September 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Quiet side of the Mississippi Gulf Coast I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express many times. Never failed to be greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean and above all else quiet. The only suggestion for improvement that I could make would be to designate some rooms as suites for those seeking a larger space for business or longer than usual stays. Highly recommend. Only complaint was the breakfast, not very tasty. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family anytime! Can't wait to come back. September 12, 2015
