Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Good stay I enjoyed it at the hotel. I was just surprised at the reception, and the breakfast was a little less than what I expected. September 3, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best place to stay in Los Alamos The good: This is a very clean hotel with courteous staff. Free WiFi and free basic hot breakfast. The surprise: For our family of four we booked a 1 King bed suite, which I thought meant we'd have a separate bedroom, it doesn't, it's actually a studio suite. On vacation our kids think it's "fun" to get to sleep on the fold out couch.....go figure. With a full hotel over Labor Day weekend the staff were limited but did what they could to help, and it all worked out in the end. After all, we were only there to sleep. The funny: Our shower head had two options; water laser, and only spray water on the wall and curtain. September 3, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation not correct, Night clerk Unbelievably Rude We had a late arrival reservation for a queen suite and when we checked in and went to our room we had been put in a regular double queen room without a sleeper sofa. We went to the front desk to inform the night clerk. She was not a reservation clerk, but someone in the back office who was filling in. She was also the only desk employee working that night. She did not know how to use the computer system and it took her 15-20 minutes to straighten out their mistake and find an available room. When we explained the problem and told her we needed a remedy to the situation, she said " this is not my problem, stop harassing me". Expecting our reservation to be correct or expecting a reasonable solution is not harassing. To say that their failure to have our reservation correct was "not my problem" was rude and unprofessional. August 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice room and friendly staff On arrival the staff was pleasant and had everything ready for my stay. The room was clean and quiet. And the breakfast was good and hot. The coffee was fresh and it was a good start to my day. August 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Internet speed Internet speed was less than adequate compared to my stay at the Fairfield Inn in Albuquerque on the same trip. Considering the fact that the main business in Los Alamos is Los Alamos National Laboratory where thousands of physicists and other scientists visit every year, Internet access and performance is particularly important to these travelers. Scientists are actually doing work over the internet and are not just checking email or their Facebook page. They often remote log on to computers at their own institutions, transmit graphical images that are data intensive. In my opinion, internet speed at the Holiday Inn Express in Los Alamos is much more important than the fact the hotel has an indoor pool. August 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 40th Los Alamos Triathlon The rooms was great for us to rest the night before our event. Breakfast was a great start to the day. The location worked out for us. Best place in town. August 20, 2014
