i stayed there 3 nights on business travel to LANL. This is a clean, safe, organized hotel with decent rooms and amenities. I stayed in a suite which was spacious and quite nice with a separate bedroom, and living area with a small kitchen. A very nice clean room with good towels, soaps, etc. Air conditioning was good. Internet was good. The TV programming was OK and there were pay-per-view options i did not use. The pool and hot tub/spa were okay, not great. I did soak in the spa for a bit. no real ambiance there. I tried to use the small gym one night. This was the most disappointing part of my stay. The aerobic equipment (treadmill, elliptical) were in poor repair and were squeaky. I found them unusable. There was a TV in the gym but no remote. I took some dumbbells to my room and did some light lifting and stretching rather than use their poor equipment. So, the gym was not great. the breakfast was pretty good. they had eggs and sausage, toast, juice, milk, cereal, yogurt, some fruit. Coffee was ok; typical but not great. There was also a machine that would make pancakes automatically. If hotels would invest in a way to provide really good coffee, that would make all the difference for me. But, apparently, it is still too difficult for most businesses to do this one thing, and I guess that is why Starbucks exists. It fills a need that few want to address.
Staff were friendly. Overall good experience. Fix the gym equipment.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Benn49 Better Choice in Los Alamos
I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area. This is one of the better ones. The rooms are a little more expensive than they need to be and the property is on the edge of town, but these would not deter me from staying here again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by annie5941 comfortable bed and good breakfast
Really enjoyed having choice of firm or soft pillows.
Breakfast choices were good, but coffee much too weak in hospitality room and in personal room.
I left my ipad in room when I checked out. Upon arriving home, I immediately called front desk and it was found in your lost and found. I was told manager would send it , and much to my surprise I received it in perfect condition two days later. Really appreciate the speedy attention and the honesty of your staff.
Would have liked a refrigerator in room.
Upon checking out computers were down, and I did not receive a receipt. Was told I would receive one by email, but so far have not.
All in all, a very pleasant stay.

For the most part the stay was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was nice. DirecTV with HDTV was a nice touch. Only small issue was not having a vent fan in the bathroom.

first time in Los Alamos, and this Holiday Inn. We enjoyed visiting the town and learning about the history of this area. This Holiday Inn seems rather new and provided a compfortable and relaxing place to stay.
