After a long and exhausting trip, it was a relief to arrive.
The staff was very kind and welcoming. The morning staff was just as kind. It was nice to have smiling faces and kind words to send you off on your day!

Was quoted over the phone a different rate than was charged.
I arrived, hopped in the shower only to find 2 used bars of soap from the previous guests. Then noticed the trash can in the bathroom had not been emptied. There were also several used cups on the sink.
I've stayed at this location several times, and over the past few stays I had encountered a similar experience where there was a used wash cloth in the shower in additional to a long black hair about 12" in length.

I travel frequently with my job and stay almost exclusively within the IHP brand. I am normally pleased. Before this stay I read reviews on the property and thought it would be fine, and the location was good. However, the room I was given was not clean (filth behind the night stand, musty odor, uncomfortable bed and the water had a foul smell, but it was late and I wasn't sure they had another room available. I had to return a few days later and was put in the SAME EXACT ROOM. When I told the clerk that I was not satisfied with that room earlier in the week and did not want it, they insisted that it had been cleaned and wanted me to walk to the room and inspect it. We entered the room- still stinking as it had been, and I brought them over and showed them the filth beside the bed. They never apologized for my bad experience but did put me in a different room that somehow they were CONFIDENT would be suitable. When I inspected this room it looked much cleaner although it was musty smelling as well, but I figured this must be the room they keep available for people that complain. It had a bigger TV and the bed was of much better quality than the other room.
I do not recommend this particular HI. There are far too many options (including other IHP properties) in a place as big as Louisville to endure such and I will definitely not use this one again.

I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel due to late arrival and early check out. After a long drive, it was nice to arrive a the Louisville NE HI to be warmly greeted at the check-in desk. Check in went smooth and quick. Breakfast in the moring offered a lot of options. Room, and common areas were very clean. I intent to stay here again during future visits to NE Louisville.

The room was okay, the ice dispenser had a nasty funk down the hall. The televisions are large but HBO comes in lousy, and if that's because of the channel I was watching was SD then the HD versions weren't able to get a signal. It's right next to the Ford truck plant so if you have to be there it's not a bad place. But since they are doing construction at the plant the halls were a bit on the noisy side.
On the plus side the chairs for the desk actually raised up and down a fair a mount instead of the few inches most places normally move. Allowed me to use the desk comfortably for a change.
