Room was great size. Only issue is the tv is located to far from bed.

The jets did not work in the hot tub, and this was not fixed during our 5-night stay. Our door did not automatically close, and this was not fixed. Other than those 2 things, it was a great hotel. Breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and comfy.

Our stay was for one night during our travel to Detroit. Check-in was late so we weren't able to take advantage of the facilities. The check-in was smooth and friendly, the room we were given had just been remodeled and was very nice, clean and comfortable. The TV was new and huge (50" _). The morning breakfast was standard fare. The surrounding area had plenty of restaurants to choose from. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn before and will stay at it again because it is close to family. Hopefully the key mix-up was a glitch , but it was certainly disconcerting, luckily we were watching TV and getting ready to go out so we were up and dressed. I also expected to be given a IHG recognition bag of at least a bottle of water, but non was given.

Hotel was nice, room was clean and staff was helpful. Pool area was nice and Hot tub was great. Free breakfast was a plus, however food choices and qualty were lacking.

At the time of check in, I asked receptionist for a room on upper floor but she replied that there is abosutely no room available on the upper floor. Another colleague of mine checked in 15 minutes later and he got a room on upper floor, although he never asked for a room on upper floor. I think that particular receptionist was too lazy to change my pre-booked room.
I thought being a IHG member, I should be given preference.

Once arriving to the hotel me and my 16 year old son were told that the rate was for two night stay not just one, our plans changed. The reservation confirmation stated that we would need to cancel before 6pm of the stay and it would be OK. They never said we HAD to stay for two nights to stay one night. I checked out the next morning and everything seemed OK, but I just noticed I got charged for both nights. Then when we got to the room it had only one bed, we ordered two. The lady at the front desk said they were booked and we had no choice. Then we went to the pool to relax, there were no towels at the pool. Finally we decided to go to sleep there was a noise similar to a tractor pull coming from the room above for about 45 minutes, maybe a whirlpool tub I don't know. Will never stay here again.
