Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly trained staff I stayed 4 nights and encountered nothing but problems. I t took 30 minutes to be checked in to my room the first time due to untrained staff after midnight. I was given an occupied room and when I returned to the front desk the attendant did not believe me and disturbed the guest in the room again. After another 30 min I received another room and the rate was more. The air conditioning was broken in the lobby and breakfast room. The breakfast rooms tables were always dirty and there was never any hot food available. One morning I had to ask to have the pancake machine turned on and filled up. August 16, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ENJOYABLE STAY WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS LOCATION SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED OUR VISIT. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS ACCOMMODATING THERE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEEDS. THE A/C PROBLEM IN THE LOBBY AND BREAKFAST AREA NEEDS TO BE REMEDIED SOON, VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. OTHER THAN THAT, WE WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE OUR ANNUAL VISIT TO LUCEDALE FOR OUR FAMILY REUNIONS AND CONTINUE TO STAY WITH HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. THIS YEAR WE OCCUPIED 5 ROOMS, MAYBE MORE NEXT YEAR. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs management Cigarette burns on comforter Areas in room not cleaned in some time No AC in dining room Arrived for breakfast at 9:15. No plates, no sausage, no Biscuits, very low quantity of rest. Workers gathered in small room playing on phones and they did get plates. That is all they brought out in the 30 minutes we waited. They stayed in the room playing on phones. Several guests came and went after speaking to the staff but left without anything else brought out. We asked at front desk about it - and the person there defended them. When asked for manager we were told no manager would be there for the weekend. I would have thought the weekend before school would be one of the busiest and would have management on hand. We have stayed here multiple times but this will be our last. Very disappointed in Holiday Inn - nowhere near your standards. August 11, 2015
