Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel once They Changed My Room The first room I checked into, I could hear every word of the woman in the next rooms converstaion on her cell phone. She was on the phone non-stop and it was so loud it was unbearable. I requested and received a room change and the next room was much quieter. Sound conditioning is not the best. March 30, 2015

While the hotel is receiving a remodel it was still very comfortable, hit all the marks, and we won't hesitate to revisit when in the area again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a good stay The hotel is going through some upgrades right now that will make the hotel better. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and friendly and very responsive to the needs of the guests. It is also a nice quiet hotel so if I have to do work at the hotel or just want to relax I do not have to worry about a lot of noise. Great place to stay in Ludington. March 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always enjoyable I have stayed at the HIE in Ludington 4 times now and wouldn't stay anywhere else when in the area. The location is great, the property is always neat inside and out, and the amenities are worth the stay (laundry, pool area, work out room, game room,,etc.). The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable (so much so that I bought some pillows). The greatest thing about this location, however, is the staff. They all go out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable, and they always succeed. A special thank you to Jason Butterfield, Diane and Carly. You guys are great. March 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Priority Club wouldn't give me points, but Fine Place to stay Everything here was fine. They don't have an elevator to the second floor, so if you need assistance, ask for the first floor. I like that the window actually opened. Priority Club didn't give me my points for this stay and that really upsets me. I sent a message requesting they honor that, so we'll see if it works. But even if it does, having to go through that in a pain! I shouldn't have to fight for loyalty points if I go out of my way to stay at one of their chain hotels. If this continues, I'll pick another chain or go local (which is probably what I should have done anyway. If a chain isn't going to give me some benefit, it's not worth it). March 12, 2015
