The beds in this particular hotel are so comfortable. They feel almost like a Tempur-pedic but better. The pillows are soft and you have the choice of soft or firm and they are labeled. These are full size pillows and not those jammed up in a pillowcase rocks that you get it most hotels. And there are also ceiling fans above the bed. I absolutely love this. Every time I come to Lufkin for business I stay at this hotel without a doubt.

I would recommend to anyone to stop and try Holiday Inn Express. The staff is awesome ,friendly, and very helpful! The grounds are well kept. All areas of the Hotel were very clean!! I will be returning again soon, loved my visit there! Keep up the good work Holiday Inn Express!!!

Balcony room is our favorite and we always stay in one. Staff was excellent in helping us select our room. We use this hotel when we need to get away and enjoy the pines.

I stay here quiet a bit; and although it was better than the last stay with an upgrade. But being Platinum, I still had to complain to the desk clerk, that there were no more papers at 7:00am. I didn't get one at my door either morning I was there, like I was told when I checked in. The morning desk clerk (which is never that approachable) did have one brought to my room later.
The hostess speaks very poor English, if at all. So a greeting there is nonexistent. I'd also like to see fresh fruit in a bowl, if possible. When leaving at check-out, the same morning desk clerk, didn't even look up after I greeted her on the way out. Bitter, embarrassed, who knows. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't she family to the GM or owner? I'll continue to monitor it.
