Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Price too high for average hotel There was nothing wrong with the hotel if it had been 1/2 the price. Good breakfast variety and quality, though breakfast room very small and cramped with tables too close together. Room was fine, though beds were hard. Room was well insulated, so we heard very little hallway noise. It just wasn't worth the rate for the room. I believe all of the hotels charge exorbitant prices in the area, due to 2 colleges being in the area and unfortunately we have to have a place to stay. Best to stay in downtown. Drive the 10-15 min. and get a much better rate. We won't do it again. I would have expected a much more luxurious hotel for this rate. October 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No hot water an zero internet access Our first morning we found there was no hot water but barely warm water instead. I am a principal system analyst and tried to connect to the free wireless internet. I was not able to connect. I spoke with the manager. He said he would get the maintenance man to look at the hot water issue. His answer regarding the internet access was that they would be upgrading to fiber in a few weeks. Obviously plans to upgrade did not resolve my lack of internet connection. The next day we had hot water in the room. I could connect to the internet the second day but could only maintain a connection for about 2 minutes before the connection dropped due to an extremely weak signal. When we checked in we only had three sets of towels for the four of us booked in the room. We asked for extra towels and cloths. We also met a maid in the hall and asked her to replace the extra towels we had the first day. She was ever ready to please and said she would make sure we had extra towels. When we returned to the room we found the unused extra towels were gone and the towels left for three people. We see a pattern where this hotel raises their prices on weekends with high demand. The one great aspect of our stay was the breakfast lady who was the friendliest person you have ever met who attempts to talk to each person in the breakfast area and does an excellent job. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Last visit here When we checked in, we got "thank you for being a club member, would you like the amenity bag?" I said no thank you and asked for the points instead and for the first time in 28+ stays this year was told "we don't do that". Got to our room, turned on the tv to watch the news, and no signal came up for NBC, however we could get some channels like Fox. Next morning, the hot water cut out in the middle of my shower, so my husband didn't try. Breakfast was standing room only. Never again. October 23, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by One of the WORST hotel experiences The room wasn't ready at check-in time. The beds are like sleeping on concrete. The staff is noisy in late night/early morning. Housekeeping staff is very rude. A sign on the front says smoke free property but it should say smoke free building because the staff smoke by the front door. The bathrooms were dirty and the walls had cracks in the bathroom above the shower/tub that needed immediate repair. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to any of my friends. Your staff was friendly and very professional. It was easy to get our belongings on a cart and to our room. Parking was very close to the building. Our room was clean and the temperature was very comfortable from the moment we stepped into the room. The room was a perfect size and the bathroom was large enough. There was plenty of clean towels which were replaced each day for us. The bed and pillows were comfortable and after our long ride from home it was a pleasure to settle in for the night. Front desk staff was very friendly upon arrival but the hostesses in the breakfast area were fantastic. They made each guest feel as if he/she were their personal staff. Not only did they cook and keep the area clean, they were personable with everyone. I would drive out of my way to stay there again. October 15, 2014

The desk clerk gave us one,but when we got to the room, we discovered that it had a tub instead of a roll-in shower. I am in a power chair and unable to walk. We explained the situation to the desk clerk and she went far and beyond to accomadate us with what we needed. The room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.
