I have lost faith with the Holiday Inn Express and have actually began staying at other companies locations. But I will say this should be the example the other HIE model themselves by. A + all the way. pleasant, professional staff and eveything worked. Keep up the great work!

I live in the NYC area. We have many great hotels in the area. These hotels tend to be a little pricey, and despite paying these prices, you sometimes receive inconsistent or poor service from the staff.
The first time I stayed at the Magee Holiday Inn Express I was pleasantly surprised to find a new, very clean and well run hotel. I had not stayed in a Holiday Inn facility in some time and was amazed at how well they executed their plans to upgrade their properties.
I was last down in Magee at the end of March. Unfortunately it was for my sister's funeral. Many family members were staying there. Ranging from my young nieces and nephews to our 75 year old mother. It was very comforting to be welcomed back by the same same staff and their heartfelt condolences as soon as we walked in the front door. This is a great facility, but what really stands out, are the outstanding people that work there.

On the evening of check in we had some car trouble in route that had delayed our arrival past midnight. Rather than cancel our room or just charge our card and be done with us, the lady at the hotel chose to call and check on us before making a move that would potentially be harmful to our reservation. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that, as I just experienced the opposite situation at one of your competitors this week. I had a delayed flight that pushed my arrival to the hotel to well after midnight. After a very grueling day of traveling, I arrived only to find out that my room had been canceled and my card charged anyway. I was also lectured on how I was supposed to have called them by 6pm to notify them of cancellations or late arrivals despite the fact that I was on a plane all evening. I was very upset and did not appreciate the tone or the lack of concern that they showed me. Kudos to HIE for showing them way up! Thanks again for taking care of the customer!

The staff certainly epitomized the slogan as "Southern hospitality". They were extremely helpful and friendly and are doing a "World Class" job at this facility!

Was stuck in town on Christmas night. Nice hotel and nice staff. Breakfast area was the cleanest, best arranged that I have seen in a HI.

this hotel is one of the best holiday inn express hotels out there. i was able to relax without the feel of missing home. love the directv in every room made watching football that much easier. i will continue to stay at this hotel every time i am in this area no matter what the price is.

My stay at this property was wonderful. The rooms were well maintained, clean, and comfortable. although I know a lot of people are pet lovers, I am not. Which made it nice to see that they had a no pet policy. I didn't have to worry about animal hair on the furniture and was truly able to lay back and relax. The staff was awesome and very helpful with any concerns I had.
