Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast is still a huge issue If you want a hot breakfast at Malvern, Ar. This is not the place to stay!!! Other restaurants in the area are very good. Overall, the hotel is a nice place to stay. But, Don't expect much in the morning in the breakfast area. Other Holiday Inn along the I-40 corridor are claiming to spend 1,000.00's of dollars on the breakfast each week. We realize that the breakfast bar is a huge loss of revenue for many of IHG's properties. But this particular inn is very constant in providing an extremely poor breakfast. There were no eggs, sausage, & coffee was cold. This with 1-1/2 remaining of serve time. Folks with children, we witnessed, were forced to check out early and find food for their families elsewhere. This is the forth time in 12 months that we have stopped & had this problem with this particular property. Given the fact that most are independently owned & operated franchises, this is by far one of the finer places to stop except for the very poor lack of attention to the basics of the morning breakfast. Front desk staff at check-in were very nice and professional. January 14, 2015
