Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Room 128 (I believe) next to pool, across hall from laundry Welcomed as a "Preferred Customer" with a reservation, I was assigned to room 128. We found it next to the indoor pool, and across from the Laundry. That afternoon it was full of kids, but the sign said it would close at 9PM, and I assumed the staff would enforce that rule. At 9:30 -10:45 the hall was still alive with screaming kids, and further, someone was doing laundry and singing at the top of her lungs. At 11PM someone was yelling down the hall. The only way I could tell what the time was with MY WATCH, as the spiffy looking clock radio had an LCD display which was NOT BACK LIT and was totally dark in the dark room. I highlighted these issues and my discontent upon checkout, but the clerk seemed at a loss as what to do. I advised, as a "Preferred Customer" , that this would probably be my last visit to a IHG Holiday Inn Express. September 23, 2014

The front desk clerk smiled and made eye contact from the moment I came in the door, and provided a cordial and efficient check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast bar was well-stocked, and had a wide variety of selections. The dining room was clean and roomy. All-in-all, a great experience. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wet floor and hot hallways Our first room was unacceptable. Half of the carpet was soaking wet, you could hear the water when you walked on it. We told the front desk and they immediately gave us a new room without questions, The carpet in the 2nd room was not nearly AS bad. Around the air conditioning unit however, the carpet was wet. We decided to stay in this room since it was not as bad. By the 2nd day of our stay, the carpet was dry. The hallways and elevators felt like a sauna. It literally took my breath away to walk in the hallway. Finally-we were in town for a wedding. The day of the wedding, the elevator was out of order. The bride had to walk down the concrete, dirty stairs in a very expensive white wedding dress. Other than these issues, each staff member was very friendly and always had a smile. The one thing we did NOT have an issue with was the staff. September 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay for family wedding The hotel was very comfortable and clean and the free breakfast was quite good. The fitness center did not have clean towels available but the equipment was working. The rooms were clean and updated and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly.
