Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location The room was clean & the bathroom had a great big shower. The only downside is they do include a English breakfast. The surrounding buildings to the hotel are being developed so it was a bit like a building site during out visit as you enter the hotel from the main road. May 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay in Manchester I was in Manchester for a meeting at the BBC's site at MediaCityUK in Salford. I wanted a city centre hotel with good value and complimentary breakfast. The Holiday Inn Express M.E.N. Arena provided all of these - along with pleasant staff and a nice, modern building. It's just a short walk from the Metrolink tram stop at Shudehill - so it's very easy to get to from Manchester's Piccadilly station. May 9, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Comfortable rooms The hotel was in easy walking distance of Piccadilly Station. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good but the area was a little confined. Everything except toast was in a small gulley way and with lots of people not knowing what they wanted there was a lot of going backwards and forwards. There was plenty of choice though. Staff were very friendly and we were able to drop our bags off early in the day before checking in to save carrying them around April 26, 2013
