Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too many problems Compared with other Express Inns in Manchester area this Salford Quays Hotel is in need of an overhaul. On my arrival the lift failed at the fifth floor, luckily, with the door open. I reported this and member of staff came up with no idea what to do. The following morning exactly the same problem arose, but at last the staff decided to call the lift maintenance company. Breakfast was the usual miserable offering of sausage and hard scrambled egg, which had been left heating for too long. The drain of the wash hand basin was blocked and took 10 minutes to drain. I reported this to a cleaner, but 12 hours later nothing had been done. 3/10 November 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well up to standard Perhaps as a Gold member we had a room near the lift which was nice & convenient but a bit noisey. It was raining hard as we prepared to leave & the manager offered us a lift to the Metro as it appears taxi's would not make the trip. In the event it had stopped raining when we left but we did much appreciate the offer. November 15, 2014
